"Can someone please explain to me how the hell this happened?" Mac Rockwell yells into his telephone as he sits at his desk at the Rockwell Mining building. Mac's morning started out brutally when he discovered that Yuri Kafelinkov pulled out on their contract. Mac has no idea where Yuri is taking the Kremlin Diamond mine too now, but he is furious that Yuri would do this to Rockwell Mining.

Lex Rockwell opens the door to his father's office and slowly moves inside, listening to his father on the telephone, trying to gather as much information as he can about what is going on.

"Then you make sure that you charge that son of bitch every penny for breaking the contract," Mac says into his phone. "He won't get away with this. I swear to God, he won't!"

"What happened?" Lex asks his father, as he slams the phone down.

"Kafelinkov revoked the contract," Mac looks up at his son. "He's pulling the Kremlin Diamonds out from under the Rockwell umbrella."

"Why would he do that?" Lex asks him in confusion. "We made him that sweet deal of giving him 5% of the profits. Marat told us his father was impressed by that."

"I know," Mac stands up and moves to the bar to pour himself a brandy. "I suspect this goes back to when Lydia took over Rockwell Mining and she revoked that 5%. Things have been different with the Kremlin since then. Look at you, by the way, I can't believe you're back at work already."

Lex chuckles back to him. "I'm fine Dad," he says with a smile on his face. "I mean, I'm getting stronger each and every day. I want to be back at work."

"I don't know if that's a good idea,". Mac says before he takes a sip of his brandy. "I don't want you to overdo it, Lex."

"I won't," Lex replies to him quickly. "I'm going a little stir crazy at home, if I am honest."

"When did you leave the house?" Mac asks him.

"Pretty early," Lex reveals to him. "I had an early therapy session at the hospital with Brock."

"Brock Jennings is a miracle worker," Mac smiles back to him. "First with Cole and now with you."

Lex gulps thinking about how he and Brock have been growing closer. Lex can't deny that he is attracted to the man whom is helping him get his strength back. Still, he knows that he has to watch his move because he would never do anything to hurt Jarek Williams, his husband, in that way.

"Why do you ask about what I left? What was going on at home?"

"I heard Jarek on the phone inviting some people over," Mac reveals to him. "I think he was going to use the party room. I don't mind, of course, he's just making himself at home."

"He didn't say anything to me," Lex says. "Look, I'm going to head home and see what's up with Jarek. Before I go, however, you should know that Kent offered me the CEO position at Blackmore Ltd."

"He did what?" Mac asks, shocked by Lex's admission. "That son of a bitch!"

"Dad, calm down," Lex tells him. "He is worried that Stacey doesn't have enough experience to run the company, and he wants to transfer the power of attorney to me until he's healthy again."

"Please tell me you're not thinking about this," Mac tells him. "You know your place is here, at Rockwell Mining!"

Lex turns around so he can't face Mac because he doesn't want to see the hurt in his eyes. "Lexington, you're not saying anything!"

"It would be temporary!" Lex finally tells him. "It would be a great opportunity for me! I'm just saying, I'm thinking about it."

Mac sighs and runs his hands through his hair. "I don't want to lose you," Mac tells him. "You belong here, end of story."

***

Stacey Rockwell opens the office door to Kent Blackmore's office at Blackmore Ltd. with a huge grin on her face. She just finished announcing to the executive team that Blackmore Ltd. was taking over Kremlin Diamonds; she secured her first mine for the company, and she has to admit that it feels great. She has never had such a rush come over herself before. And, this couldn't have happened at a better time since Kent asked Lex to run the company.

"This is what it's like to have power," she tells herself as she pours herself a vodka and takes a sip of immediately. "I'm getting things done. The look on their faces was priceless; they are actually taking me seriously! I can run the company better than Lex ever could."

She turns around and walks to the desk when she hears the telephone start to ring. She quickly moves up to it. "Stacey Rockwell," she answers the phone. "Oh, did he? Yes, I remember Kent saying something about it. Look, hold off. I'll talk to Kent. He needs to know what's happened. He might have a change of heart."

She hangs up the phone and quickly takes another swig of her vodka; after all her hard work, she just learned that Kent has been in touch with his lawyers about moving the power of attorney over to Lex; she knew that he said that earlier to her, but now that she has had a taste of success, she certainly doesn't want to let it go.

"But the question is," she says to herself. "How am I going to convince Kent to keep me in charge?"

***

Vivian Blackmore quickly moves off the elevator and starts to move towards the front door of Kent Blackmore's penthouse, when she pauses because she hears her cell phone ringing. She is rather annoyed by the interruption because she has wanted to see her ex-husband to see how he is really recovering from the surgery.

"Hello," she says into her telephone. "Oh, Larry Fondell, thank you for calling me back. What have you learned about my request to look into that secret mission we discussed?"

Vivian listens, recalling how she went to the private investigator to look into a possible connection between Celeste Rockwell and Marat Kafelinkov in hopes of uncovering something that will break Celeste and Cole up, so Vivian have the younger man all for herself. The fact that she is getting a phone call so quickly after meeting with Larry, must be good news.

"New York City?" Vivian asks him, hearing what he is telling her. "Yes, of course I can go. I'll catch the next flight. Thanks for the update, I really appreciate it."

Vivian puts her phone back in purse as she smiles to herself. "This lead could be everything I need to get Cole back," she whispers to herself, looking at her watch. "I'd had hoped to see Kent, but I need to get to the airport if I want to make the next flight. I'll touch base with him afterwards."

She quickly walks back to the elevators, and gets on when the door slides open. Just as she steps on to the elevator, the elevator door next to it opens and Lex emerges. He steps off and moves towards the front door of the penthouse.

"Kent," he calls out as he opens the door, and soon sees his biological father sitting on the sofa. "I hope I'm not interrupting."

Kent stands up and looks at his son. "Not at all," he says back to him. "It's nice to see you up and about. How are you feeling?"

"Not bad, actually," Lex admits to him. "I still have some soreness, but the physical therapy is going really well. How are you feeling?"

Kent shrugs his shoulders. "I haven't started my physio yet, as I'm in a lot of pain, actually."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Lex replies to him. "Can I get you anything?"

"No, no," Kent waves his hand. "I have some pain medication that I take. It's really good to see you, Lex."

"You too Kent," Lex smiles back to him. "How are you doing with other stuff?"

"By other stuff, do you mean Lydia's death?"

"It hasn't been easy for me," Lex admits to him. "So, I can't imagine what it's doing to you."

"I miss her so much," Kent replies to him. "But, I'm trying to be strong. I'm trying to remember the good times, you know?"

"Yea," Lex says back to him. "The last few months with her, weren't easy. But I'm trying to think about the good times too."

"You know that she had my power of attorney," Kent explains to him. "And Stacey had Lydia's, so she's running Blackmore Ltd right now. Have you given any more thought to what I asked of you?"

"It has been on my mind, yes."

"I've been in touch with my lawyers," Kent reveals to him. "I'd like my POA to be put in your name. Would you be okay with that?"

Lex gulps. "I mean, I'm flattered," Lex admits to him. "But, I'm not sure that I want to run Blackmore Ltd. I've always thought that I would run Rockwell Mining one day. Mac wasn't too pleased to learn of this."

"I get that," Kent tells him. "But, you're my son. I would rather have you running my company over Stacey. Tell me you'll at least think about it? You can't let Mac dictate to you forever, Lex."

"I will think about it," Lex smiles back to him. "Look, I need to get going, but we'll be in touch, okay?"

"Thanks for stopping by," Kent smiles back to him, as they awkwardly hug.

Stacey quickly closes the front door, having heard their conversation. She had come by to see Kent to tell him the good news about getting the Kremlin Diamond mine under the Blackmore Ltd umbrella, when she heard Kent plead with Lex to take over the company from her. She scurries around the corner, hiding from Lex, who gets on the elevator and leaves. Stacey re-emerges and breathes a sigh of relief that Lex didn't see her hiding.

"I won't let this opportunity go," she says to herself, as she moves closer to the door and knocks on it.

"Did you forget something?" Kent asks as he opens the door, expecting to see Lex standing there. "Oh, Stacey. This is a surprise."

"I had to see you," she purses her lips together as she moves inside the penthouse. "I've had a major coo at Blackmore and you should know about it."

"Oh, I'm all ears."

Stacey scans the room and quickly spots the bottle of pills next to the brandy. She recalls how she was here before and she spotted Kent take his medication with a brandy and within a few minutes, he was pretty stoned.

"How about a drink while we talk?" Stacey asks him. "You'll be very impressed with me."

"Sure," Kent nods back to her, moving up to the bar and pouring two brandy's. His eyes immediately see the bottle of painkillers. Without thinking, he opens the bottle and puts two pills in his hand. He puts them in his mouth and takes a drink before handing the other glass to Stacey, who is eagerly watching it unfold.

"I've gotten Kremlin Diamonds to leave Rockwell Mining and move under the Blackmore Ltd. umbrella," she boasts to him, accepting the brandy.

Kent arches his eyebrow. "I bid on that mine myself," Kent accepts the drink from her. "Yuri went with Rockwell Mining. How did you get them to leave their contract?"

"I have my ways," Stacey smiles to him as they toast. "Drink up, this is a major win for us."

"You're right, it is," Kent takes a drink of his brandy. "I'm very impressed. I have to wonder, though. What will Mac think of this?"

"It's business," Stacey replies to him. "He'll understand that."

Kent nods back to her as he finishes his brandy. He sets the glass down as he immediately starts feeling tired and gets a glazed look in his eyes. "You look tired, Kent. You're obviously not ready to come back to work yet."

"No, I'm not," he says moving to the sofa to sit down. "But, you should know, that there is still work to be done."

"Well, I'm doing a good job for you. In fact, I think you should call your lawyer and tell them not to change the POA over to Lex."

"I'll think about it," Kent waves his hand in the air. "But, like I said, there is more work to be done. Just because you have this major coo, it shouldn't stop you from working on something else. The key to a great leader, is that you're always have something else up your sleeve."

Stacey looks back at him and sees his eyes become heavier. "Tell me, Kent. Tell me that you'll think about not transferring the POA."

Kent slowly nods his head back to her as he sits on the sofa. "I'll.." he begins to say with his eyes heavy. "I'll think about it…"

Stacey secretly feels her blood boil. How dare he not recognize how great of a job she is doing. She just scored another mine to leave Rockwell and come to Blackmore, and he doesn't even say thank you? She will show him, she thinks to herself. She watches him fall asleep and then purses her lips together.

"Now, for my next coo."

Celeste Rockwell moves up to a table at the country club, where she sees Marat Kafelinkov sitting by himself looking over some files. She purses her lips together as she looks at the man that she shared so many close moments with in New York City, and now she will be sharing her wedding day with.

"Do you have a moment?" she says, causing Marat to look up and see Celeste.

"Of course," he gestures for her to sit down. "Are you excited about the wedding?"

"I am," she nods back to him. "I mean, the idea came out of the blue. I wanted to see how you really felt about it."

Marat chuckles a little back to her. "I'm a big boy, I can handle getting married and having you stand next to me."

Celeste uneasily smiles back to him. "Yea, for a while, it seems like it could have been us getting married for real."

"That was a long time ago, Celeste."

"I know," she waves her hand in the air. "But, if you'll be okay with it, then I am too. No one has to know about our past together. Not now, not ever."

"I'm on the same page as you," he tells her as he grabs her hand and squeezes it. "Don't worry, we are clear. And, look, I've kept your secret about not being able to have more children."

"I appreciate that," Celeste purses her lips together.

"If I may," Marat replies to her. "You should tell Cole the truth about this. He does have a right to know."

"I know, I know," Celeste replies to him, as she grabs his hand. "Thank you for caring. You have no idea how much I appreciate your friendship."

At the entry way to the dining room, Cole stands and crosses his arms across his chest, surprised to see Marat holding his fiancé's hand. "What the hell is going on?" he asks himself, unhappy with the sight of Celeste and Marat together.

"Have you heard about this news?" Sabine Andrews asks Mac as she walks into his office, holding a file folder. She is somewhat worried about how Mac will react to the news she is about to share with him but she realizes that he has to know the truth.

Mac looks up from his desk at Sabine, Lydia's sister who recently joined the Rockwell Mining team. "You'll have to be more specific."

"Kremlin Diamonds leaving Rockwell for Blackmore Ltd," Sabine moves up closer to his desk. "It was Stacey who convinced them to jump ship."

Mac's eyes open wider in shock. "What? Stacey wouldn't do that to Rockwell Mining! How did she manage to do that?"

Sabine shrugs her shoulders. "I don't have all the details, I just thought you knew that it was your daughter that costed you that mine."

Mac feels his blood boil at the thought that Stacey is only temporarily over at Blackmore Ltd and is already creating chaos for Rockwell Mining. "I don't believe this," he whispers back to Sabine.

***

Lex opens the front door to the Rockwell mansion and immediately hears the loud base of music coming from the rec room on the second level of the mansion. He recalls how Mac told him that he overheard Jarek inviting some people over to the mansion for a get together; he had no idea that his husband would be throwing a party, especially since it is early afternoon. As he moves up the stairs, he can't help but remember how the previous day when Jarek went a little overboard with shopping.

"He's obviously getting used to having the Rockwell fortune at his dispense," Lex whispers to himself as he moves into the rec room and is surprised to see the party going on. There's half naked men everywhere, some dancing to the latest Taylor Swift single. In another corner, he can see some guys doing lines of, what appears to be, cocaine. He then sees Jarek, dancing with his shirt off, holding a red plastic cup in his hand.

Lex storms up to his husband and looks at him with intent. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Lex asks him, putting his hands on his hips.

"Hey boo," Jarek giggles back to him. "Grab a cup and party with us!"

Lex shakes his head. "You're not having a party in this house," he tells him. "This ends. Now."

"Don't be a party pooper," Jarek slurs his words together. "I'm just trying to have a good time!"

"Hey, everyone!" Lex shouts, as the music dies down. "Parties over. You can all leave now!"

"Why the fuck are you kicking everyone out?" Jarek yells at his husband, as his friends slowly leave the party. "I live here too, don't I? Am I not allowed to have a good time?"

"Yea, you are," Lex replies to him. "But drugs, alcohol and partying in my family home is not okay. If you can't see that, then maybe you shouldn't be living here."

"Oh, so that's how it's gonna be, huh? Because, I'm not all prim and proper, I get the old boot?"

"That's not what I mean," Lex tells him. "But, you have to respect my family home. You should know better that this wouldn't be acceptable. Especially at this time of day!"

Jarek looks back at him and wishes that he had killed Lex; it certainly would have been more fun than being married to him right now.

"Fine," Jarek yells back at him. "Ruin all my fun! Take everything from me, that's what you always do anyways."

"Where is this coming from?" Lex asks him. "Why is it that I almost die and suddenly you're a different person?"

"I'm the same person," Jarek tells him. "Maybe you're just seeing me for the first time."

***

"I'm surprised you're not celebrating," Mac announces to Stacey as he opens the door to her office at Blackmore Ltd and moves inside quickly. "You certainly have been up to a lot in a short time here at Blackmore Ltd."

"Daddy, hi," Stacey says, putting her pen down and standing up from her chair. "I wasn't expecting to see you today. Would you care for a drink?"

"No," Mac informs her, his voice cold and stern. "I'd like you to explain to me how the hell you could steal the Kremlin Diamond mine from me!"

Stacey puts her hands on her hips and looks back at him. "Well, the truth is, Lydia was already in discussions to have the Kremlin move to Blackmore Ltd. I was just able to close the deal."

"How could you do that to me? How could you do that to Rockwell Mining?"

"I don't know why you're so upset," Stacey replies to him. "The fact of the matter is, you should be proud of me. I'm really making a name for myself here. Isn't that what you always wanted for me?"

"Not at the expense of my company," Mac fumes. "Do you realize that damage you've caused over at Rockwell? How can you forget how many hours that you put in there? And this CEO job is only temporary until Kent Blackmore is back on his feet!"

"If you had done your homework," she tells him. "You'd know that the Kremlin mine is losing diamonds anyways, quantities are down."

"You're a fool if you believe that."

"Daddy, calm down," Stacey tells him.

"Don't you dare tell me to calm down!" Mac yells back at her. "This is a betrayal, Stacey! A damn betrayal!"

"It's business!" Stacey replies to him. "And, you better get used to it. Because, I might be here a lot longer than anyone thinks."

***

Cole walks through the hallway of the Rockwell Mining hallway, hoping to see Mac. He doesn't know how his father will react to the news that Stacey is responsible for the company losing the Kremlin Diamond mine.

He reaches the office door and peers inside, and sees Sabine looking through some of Mac's files on his desk. He watches his Aunt for a moment and wonders what she is doing. He knows that she was hired at the company, but a diamond cutter doesn't really need to know the details of every deal that Mac is working on.

"Am I interrupting something?" Cole asks as he enters the office.

Sabine jumps in the chair a little and quickly shuts the folder in front of her. She gulps, but tries to keep her cool, none the less. "Not at all," she tells him as she stands up and looks at her nephew. "How are you today?"

"Fine," Cole crosses his arms over his chest. "What were you doing just now?"

"Oh," Sabine purses her lips together. "I was looking over some of the designs that Celeste and Stacey drew. Those two girls are pretty talented. I just wanted to get an idea of what I would be creating."

"Ah," Cole nods back to her, believing her story. "They are talented. Have you seen my Dad? I need to talk to him."

"I think he went to see your sister," Sabine informs him. "He wasn't very happy, which upsets me. After everything this family has been through the last couple of weeks, the last thing we need is internal fighting."

***

Mac slowly moves up to Lydia's gravesite, and then bends down to leave a bouquet of roses at the tombstone. He runs his hands over her name before he lets out a loud sigh, still reeling from his argument with Stacey.

"Even now," he whispers to her. "You're still finding ways to drive me crazy."

He doesn't know why he ended up at her grave site, but he is here now. "I can't believe that you're gone because now, I don't know whom I'm supposed to be bad at about this. That's the crazy thing between us, hey? No matter how mad or upset we got with one another, we always ended up back on the same page, somehow. I was waiting for that to happen this time, Lydia. I was waiting for you to come back around so we could be on that page again."

He slowly stands up and wipes away a tear from the corner of his eye. He still can't believe that Lydia is gone; he knows that they drove each other crazy by their antics, and even know in death it continues, but he does miss her. After all, she is the mother of his children.

"Looks like we had the same idea," a voice calls out from behind Mac.

He turns around and sees Sabine standing there, holding a bouquet of flowers as well. "It's weird," she purses her lips together as she moves closer to set the flowers next to Mac's roses. "When Lydia was alive, we didn't like one another. Probably because we are so much alike," she tells him as they look into one another's eyes. "But, knowing that she's gone and that I will never see her again, I don't know…it hurts. She was the only relative I had left. It's …"

"You have the children," Mac replies to her. "They are a piece of Lydia. Through them, we still have her."

Sabine nods back to him. "I suppose that's true. I guess that's what Lydia saw in you all those years ago."

Mac chuckles back to her. "What's that?"

"You're wisdom," Sabine tells him as she moves closer to him. He pulls her into a hug. "Thank you."

"For what?" he asks her, whispering into her ear.

"Knowing that I needed a hug."

"It's a part of my wisdom," he smiles to her as they exit their embrace.

***

Stacey opens the door to her office and quickly closes the door behind herself. She moves to the bar and pours herself a brandy before moving back over to her desk.

She opens her laptop and starts typing furiously into a word document, trying to brain storm of something else she could do to keep Blackmore Ltd on the top of its game. Kent's words that she has to come up with something else are replaying over and over in her head; he couldn't be pleased that she got the Russian mine to come to Blackmore, no, instead he told her she had to do something else. What else does he want? She asks herself, thinking then how he medicated himself again. Suddenly she hears the office door open.

"Oh Lex," she says, closing her screen so he doesn't see what she is looking up. "What brings you by? Not that I am complaining one little bit to see you."

Lex smiles as they exit their quick hug. "I saw Kent earlier," he reveals to her, as she acts surprised to hear the news. "He told me that he wanted to move his power of attorney over to me. I'm just wondering how'd you feel about that? It has been on my mind, a lot."

Stacey sighs. "Well, I think I'm doing a pretty good job of running this place," she admits to him. "I got the Kremlin Diamond mine to leave Rockwell and come here."

"Dad was not impressed when he learned," Lex crosses his arms over his chest.

"We spoke," she informs him. "He was livid but Mac has to understand that it's just business," Stacey replies to him. "But, I mean, I get why he would be. Anyways, I was hoping that Kent would change his mind about that after seeing ow good of a job I'm doing. Why do you ask? Are you interested?"

Lex shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know," he admits to her. "At first, I was against the idea because of my connection to Rockwell. But the truth is, Kent is my father. And, if he wants me to do this, then I should do that for him. I feel like I owe him since he saved my life."

Stacey gulps down some of her brandy. "Well, from what I hear, it'll take a couple of days for the transfer to happen. I guess I'll do my job well until then. But, Lex, if it's what you want, of course I'll let you have this job."

"Thanks Stacey."

***

Lex arrives at the mansion and moves quickly into his bedroom, where he sees Jarek laying in bed, clearly feeling the effects of the party he had earlier.

"How are you feeling?" Lex asks him, as he moves to the bed.

"Drunk," Jarek puts his tongue out. "I was just about to crash for a bit. How are you?"

Lex shrugs. "Okay, I suppose. Just tired. It's been a long day."

"Did you see Brock? You know he's against me, right? He's probably filling your head with all these lies about me."

"Where did that come from?" Lex asks him, feeling like he's caught in the middle between his husband and trainer. "I told you I would speak to him. Meanwhile, you go and throw some crazy party."

"I just want to go to sleep," Jarek replies to him quickly, rolling over in bed.

"Fine, I'm going to go for a walk."

***

Brock opens the door to the mansion and moves inside, hoping to see Lex about an upcoming shift. He can't help but recall how he and Lex are seemingly growing closer, and he doesn't mind because he finds Lex very attractive. He does know, however, that he has to watch his step because Jarek is in still in the picture. Although, there is something about Jarek that Brock doesn't like or trust.

Brock opens the door to Lex's bedroom, but doesn't seem him there. He does, however, see Jarek laying the bed, trying to sleep off the hangover he got at the party. Brock is about to turn away when he hears Jarek mumble something in his sleep.

"I…" he says as he rolls over. "I never meant for it to go so far. I'm so sorry Lex."

Brock arches his eyebrow, wondering what he means. "What is he sorry for?" he whispers to himself, wondering if there's more to Jarek than meets the eye. Brock closes the door and leans up against the wall for a moment, recalling how Lex said that Odette Williams never really had much access to him, so the fact that she was drugging him was odd.

"My God," he whispers, suddenly remembering that Jarek said he had to get into the house. Maybe he means his family home? He wonders as he realizes that Jarek could have been the one drugging Lex. "Did Jarek try to kill Lex?"

***

"How did the wedding plans go today?" Cole asks Celeste as he moves into the living room of the mansion and pours two glasses of red wine.

"It was fine," Celeste smiles back to him. "How was your day?"

Cole sits next to her and passes her a glass of the red liquid. "It was interesting."

"I have news," Celeste replies to him. "The divorce came through. I'm officially Celeste Baldwin again."

Cole finishes his mouthful of wine. "That's great news," Cole says with a grin on his face. "I can't believe it was so quickly."

"Well, your father didn't want to contest anything. So, it went there was nothing to contest."

Cole takes another large sip of his wine. "What is it? What's wrong? I can tell by the look on your face that you're not saying something to me."

Cole looks back at her with concern. "Is there something you're not telling me?" he asks her, thinking back to seeing her and Marat together.

"No," she says as she moves a piece of hair behind her ear, wondering if he somehow he has learned that she can't have children. "Why would you say that?'

"I saw you earlier," he reveals to her. "I saw you at the club with Marat."

Celeste gulps and takes a drink of her wine. "Oh," she says back to him. "Well, I'm not sure why you'd be upset about that?"

"He was holding your hand."

Celeste chuckles back to him. "This is cute," she says grabbing his face.

"What is?"

"You're jealous!" she laughs back to him. "Your sister is marrying Marat. I'm marrying you. We ran into one another and he comforted me when I learned about the divorce. You have nothing to worry about."

Cole breathes a sigh of relief. "That makes sense," he looks into her eyes. "I'm sorry that I misjudged you."

"I know a way you can make it up to me," she purses her lips together as she leans in and kisses him passionately.

***

"Hey Brock," Lex says as he opens the door to the mansion and sees his trainer coming down the stairs. "I wasn't expecting to see you here again today."

"Yea, I was hoping to see you about scheduling our next session. You weren't upstairs though," Brock tells him, not wanting to tell him what he heard Jarek say. He now has his theories, but he knows he can't say anything to anyone without more proof.

"Here I am," Lex smiles back to him, fresh from his walk.

Brock comes up to him and looks into his eyes. "Tomorrow works for you?'

"Yea," Lex licks his lips. "It definitely does."

"Good," Brock tells him. "I really enjoy spending time with you. Giving you a good workout."

Lex chuckles. "I can tell," he says back to him. "Look, for the record, Jarek doesn't hate you. He thinks you're trying to come between us or something. I know it's crazy…"

"Oh yea," Brock chuckles back to him. "I'm glad he doesn't hate me." Before Brock knows what he's doing, he leans in and kisses Lex on the lips. Lex pulls back but soon finds himself in another lip lock with the trainer.

"Sorry," Lex says pushing away again. "I'm married. I shouldn't have done that."

"No," Brock shakes his head. "I kissed you. I'm sorry…I know Jarek is your husband. It's just…"

"It's just what?"

"Nothing, I'll see you tomorrow," he shakes his head flustered from the kiss, knowing that he has to go to the Williams house to see what is going on over there.

***

Stacey takes another sip of her brandy as she stares at the screen of her laptop. She knows that she has to come up with something to make Kent impressed with her, especially now that Lex is actually thinking about accepting the CEO position at Blackmore Ltd. She just got this job, there's no way she wants to give it up without a fight. And, she knows that she should be able to convince Kent to do whatever she wants, because he's so heavily medicated all the time.

"Maybe I could use that to my advantage," she whispers standing up and moving over to the bar to pour herself another brandy. "If I could get Kent to like my idea after he's taken his pain medication with a drink, it could be my way to keeping this job."

She feels her large diamond tennis bracelet hit the decanter, that is fill of brandy, and looks down for a moment. "Wait a minute," she says touching her bracelet. "That's it. I know exactly what my next move will be here at Blackmore Ltd. Kent and Rockwell Mining won't even see this one coming."

***

Brock looks around and sees no one around him. He quickly moves to the gate that is on the side of the Williams house and opens it. After hearing Jarek mumble in his sleep, and then kissing Lex, he knew that he had to get to the truth about Lex's drugging. The more he's thought about it, it doesn't make sense that it was Odette that was drugging Lex, especially if she didn't have access to him. The amount of drugs that were in his system were enough to kill him, Brock knows. That means that someone must have been drugging him on a regular basis. After hearing Jarek talk in his sleep, Brock thinks that it is him that was drugging Lex.

He closes the gate behind himself and moves to the back of the house. He knows that no one will be home because Odette is in jail and Jarek is living at the mansion. He finds a window that is slightly open, and he manages pry it open more. Using his muscular arms, he lifts himself up and into the house. He pulls out a flashlight from his pocket and starts looking around.

Soon, he finds himself in Odette's bedroom. He opens some drawers, not sure exactly what he is looking for. He opens the very bottom drawer of her dresser and as he moves some of her undergarments around, he sees two small viles in a ziplock bag with "xx" written them. He picks up the bag and is shocked by his discovery. He then sees a small piece of paper in the bag that reads, "Give to Jarek."

"This is it," he whispers. "This is the drug in that was in Lex's system. Odette gave the drugs to Jarek," he continues to tell himself, shocked by what he has discovered. "Jarek tried to kill Lex."
