"Another visit tonight?" Odette Williams asks Tanner Young as he walks into her living room. She is rather surprised to see him, again, this evening as he was just here not so long again looking to get an update on their plan. Something, she realizes, must have happened that brought him back to her house. "Has something happened?"

Tanner looks back at her with a sparkle in his eyes, as he recalls being at Rockwell Mining and seeing Lex Rockwell talking to his imaginary friend, Toby Sinclair, which means the drugs that they have been giving Lex are working. Their plan to gaslight him has worked perfectly, and Tanner wanted to give her an update on what has happened.

"I had to see you," he reveals to her. "I just came from seeing Lex, only he had no idea I was there."

Odette arches her eyebrow. "And? What was dear Lex up too?"

"He thought he was about to have sex with Toby," Tanner grins back to her. "Our goal to gaslight him has worked perfectly. He believes that Toby is real and he is falling in love with him."

Odette breaks out into a wicked laughter. "Lex has been gaslighted, Cole is facing a murder charge, and Stacey is drinking more every day because of the betrayals from both Marat and Houston … my goal to ruin the Rockwell children has gone exactly the way I wanted too."

"So, that was your plan? To ruin the children's lives?"

"Yes," Odette grins back to him. "By ruining them, Lydia and Mac are ruined. They are suffering even more because their children are in pain."

"That's genius," Tanner chuckles back to her. "What is the next step?"

"The fun part," she smiles back to Tanner, as she claps her hands together.

"You really did get all of my favorites from the club," Lydia Rockwell tells Kent Blackmore as she wipes her mouth from the dinner that Kent provided her. She can't lie that it wasn't a lovely gesture from him, even though she knows she is only back living with him because he is blackmailing Mac Rockwell with the information that he used insider trading to obtain the Kelsey Lake mine contract; Lydia is back with Kent hoping to uncover some leverage that they can use to counter it.

"It was the least I could do," Kent picks up the bottle of champagne and refills the two glasses. "You know that I am just thrilled that you're home, this time to stay."

"We have been through a lot, haven't we?"

"More than two people should have to go through," Kent replies to her. "Which is why, I have another surprise for you."

Lydia arches her eyebrow as she takes a sip of her champagne. "Another one? Seriously Kent, this was dinner was more than enough. Besides, you're still recovering from your stroke."

Kent chuckles back to her. "Nothing is ever enough for you," he winks back to her. "And, I'm fine. I haven't had any signs of another stroke," he tells her. "So, here is your present."

He reaches over the table and passes her a small box. Lydia grabs it and looks back at Kent. She slowly opens the box and sees a large, 15-carat Blackmore Ltd. diamond ring. "Oh my goodness," Lydia gasps. "It's beautiful."

"We just unearthed this diamond," Kent replies to her. "It's incredibly rare, just like our love."

"I don't know what to say Kent," Lydia admits to him as she looks back at the large diamond.

"Say you'll marry me," Kent tells her. "We should have been married already, Lydia, if you actually think about it. Let's finally make this official. What do you say?"

Lydia gulps as she looks up at Kent and wonders how she can get out of this. She knows that she doesn't want to marry him; she wants to be back together with Mac, but she has to pretend that she's going along with this plan until she has found something to use against Kent.

"Of course," Lydia uneasily smiles back to him. "Of course, I'll marry you. Like you said, you would have been married already had I not been arrested."

"Let's not dwell on that," Kent moves up to her and takes the ring from the box. "Let's put this on your finger and plan this wedding. The sooner it happens, the better."

"I couldn't agree more," Lydia forces a smile on her face, as the wheels in her head start to turn. "I couldn't agree more."

The next morning, Mac pours himself a cup of coffee from the living room of the Rockwell mansion and quickly takes a sip. His mind is racing about the reason detective Garrett Owen was so against trying to help him clear Cole Rockwell's, Mac's oldest son, name from the murder charges against Dixie Ryan. He's never had an issue getting the police assistance before because the Rockwell's donate so much money to the station and force each year. He can't believe that Garrett told him to go to the commissionaire, which would mean Mac was going over Garrett's head; Mac isn't used to people standing tall to his threats.

"Something must be going on," he whispers to himself. "But what could it be? Why is Garrett being so difficult? That's something I have to find out, and I will."

"Good morning Mac," Sabine Andrews smiles as she walks into the living room. "Is that fresh coffee? I would love a cup."

"Yes, it is, help yourself," Mac replies to her, unable to get the image of Sabine in her underwear out of his mind. He can't deny that she is a beautiful woman.. "I have a busy day ahead of me."

"I hope that day includes finding a way to get me out these murder charges?" Cole announces as he comes into the living room. "I barely slept a wink last night thinking about how we can beat these charges."

"I told you not to worry," Mac tells his son. "I know exactly how we are going to prove that you didn't kill Dixie. You just have to trust me, okay?"

Just then, Lex and Stacey Rockwell move into the living room and see Mac embracing Cole. They look at one another and then over at Sabine. "Good morning," Sabine purses her lips together. "To catch you up, Mac is just telling Cole that he has a way for him to beat the murder charges. Cole should be able to be freed today; at least that's the hope."

Lex uneasily looks over at Cole, suddenly feeling guilty as he wanted to learn the truth about Dixie's disappearance to get back at Cole for his sexual encounter with Brock Jennings, but now that he can see how worried Cole is, he feels horrible. He wonders why his new found lover, Toby, would have pushed him into uncovering the truth. That is something he will have to ask him, Lex realizes because he can see how crazy his motives have been.

"That's good news," Stacey says as she pours a cup of coffee. She secretly looks over her shoulder and sees no one watching her, so she throws a splash of whiskey into her cup. "The last thing we need is for Cole to be convicted," herself feeling bad for letting Garrett into the mansion to search for evidence against Cole.

"Don't worry about that," Mac reassures his family. "Cole will be cleared by the end of the day. Mark my words."

Celeste Baldwin sits at a table at the country club with a glass of sparkling water in front of her eggs benedict, her mind racing about the previous day when she saw Lex, multiple times, talking to himself but referring to a man named Toby. She has no idea why Lex would be talking to himself this way, but she does find it rather alarming.

"I'm going to have to tell someone," she says to herself as she takes a sip of her sparkling water. "There might be something wrong with him, like maybe he's reacting to his medication from the liver transplant. I don't know what else it could be."

"Talking to yourself?" a voice calls out over her table, causing Celeste to look up. She gets a huge smile on her face when she sees Marat Kafelnikov standing over her table.

"Marat," she jumps out of her seat and hugs him. "You're back! When did you get in? How were things at the Kremlin Diamond?"

"I just landed not so long ago," Marat replies to her as they exit their embrace. "I got a room upstairs and thought I'd come get some food. How are you? How's the baby?'

"We are fine," Celeste smiles back to him. "I'm glad you're home. I really missed you."

"I'm glad to be back," Marat sits down next to her. "I missed you too; I was worried I was missing a lot with the pregnancy."

"You haven't missed anything," Celeste puts her hand on his. "There's been no drama with me, which is good."

"That is the best news I could ask for me," he grins back to her.

Stacey walks into the dining room and happens to see Celeste and Marat sitting together, with Celeste's hand on Marat's which causes her heart start to race. She had no idea that Marat was coming home; why didn't he tell her? And why was his first stop to see Celeste? Stacey finds herself walking up to the bar and ordering a quick shot of whiskey. Once the drink arrives, she quickly slams it back before she turns and leaves unseen by her husband and Celeste. She has more questions than ever before surrounding her husband's relationship with Celeste Baldwin.

"You went out rather late," Vivian Blackmore tells her son, Houston Blackmore, as she pours a cup of coffee from her living room of her mansion. She knows that Houston went out late last night, because Ashlee woke up having heard the door close and couldn't go back to sleep. This, of course, prevented Vivian from having the best of sleeps, so she needs the extra coffee this morning. "I trust you went to see Stacey?"

"I did," Houston takes a bite of his watermelon that is on his plate and then looks up at his mother. "I've realized that Tanner Young is up to something. I mean, why would he cryptically tell you about Celeste's baby when he is dating Cole and Stacey's brother? That doesn't make sense."

"You didn't ask him about it, did you?"

"I did," Houston replies to her quickly. "The thing is Mom, if I can figure out what Tanner is hiding and why he is being so mysterious, maybe it will help me get Stacey back."

"So, let me guess, last night, you went and told Stacey your fears about Tanner?" Vivian asks him before she takes another sip of her coffee. She hopes that if Tanner is up to something, that he isn't going to come after her now since she spilled the beans about him telling her about Celeste's secret.

"I did."

"And? How did she react?"

"To be honest," Houston begins to tell her. "She was so drunk; I don't think she will remember anything I said."

Vivian arches her eyebrow back to him. "I know Stacey enjoys the occasional drink, but drunk? That doesn't seem like her at all."

"It's not," Houston nods back to her. "I think with Marat and I both hurting her, she's really suffering. That's why this is so important to me. This is my chance to make it up to her."

"What are you going to do?"

"Find out what Tanner Young is up too," Houston locks eyes with his mother. "It could be my way to get Stacey to forgive me."

Grant Shaw opens the front door to the police station and moves towards the front counter, where he can see Garrett grabbing a file from the receptionist.

"Detective, you're just the man I wanted to see," Grant says as he arrives at the counter.

Garrett looks up and nods back to him. "Mr. Shaw, I've been expecting you. I was wondering when I'd see you."

"I'm here now," Grant replies to him. "And, I want to know what you're going to do to ensure that Cole Rockwell pays for killing my sister."

"He's been charged, Mr. Shaw. The rest is in the hands of the legal system."

"That's not good enough," Grant grits his teeth together. "You know damn well that the Rockwell's can get more lawyers than money can buy. I won't let him get away with this."

"I'm not sure I know what you're asking of me."

"I want you to throw the book at Cole," Grant spits. "Make sure that son of a bitch pays for killing my sister! Do whatever you have to do, but make sure he pays for this!"

Before Garrett can reply, Mac and Cole emerge from behind Grant. Mac clears his throat, causing Grant to turn around. "Ah, I should have known you two would show up here today. What kind of web are you going to spin to clear your murdering son?" Grant asks Mac.

Mac slowly walks up to Grant and brushes past him to look at Garrett sternly. "The body of Dixie Ryan has been located," Mac reveals to a stunned Garrett and Grant.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Grant asks him with a raised voice. "Where is my sister? Where was she?"

"I've had a medical team hired to perform an autopsy on the remains. Soon, we will learn the cause of the death and my son will be cleared," Mac continues to ignore Grant and looks at Garrett. "The minute those results come in, I will expect all charges to be dropped. And, if they're not, you will answer to me, understood?"

Mac finally turns and looks at Grant. "And, as for your, Mr. Shaw, if you ever lay a finger on my son's head again, you will live to regret it."

"Of course Daddy has do your dirty work," Grant looks over at Cole with a smug look on his face.

"We have something you'll never have," Cole replies to Grant. "And that's family loyalty. I pity you."

"You arrogant…"

"Save it," Mac interrupts him before he looks back at Garrett. "We'll be in touch with the autopsy results."

"Have you thought about Rockwell Mining?" Grant asks Mac, remembering how he threatened to pull the Kelsey Lake contract from the company.

Mac turns to face him. "Leave business out of this, Mr. Shaw, or you will find yourself being sued. You will not mess with my company any more than you already have."

"Are you sure we are alone?" Mac asks Lydia as he walks into the penthouse, following his visit to the police station. He knows that it is dangerous for him to be in the place that Kent lives with Lydia because if anyone saw them together, their plan to try to find something to leverage Kent and Sabine's blackmail would be ruined. Still, with Lydia still in her wheelchair, this was the easiest place to meet.

"Yes, I'm sure," Lydia replies to him. "Kent had an early meeting at Blackmore Ltd. He told me he would see me for dinner. Now, what is going on with Cole? Please tell me that you have found a way to get these bogus murder charges dropped?"

"I have found a way," Mac sits and looks into her eyes. "I have located Dixie's body and I'm having an autopsy performed. It will prove no foul play was involved in her death."

"Thank God," Lydia breathes a sigh of relief. "Cole must be relieved."

"I think he will be once the results come in," Mac nods back to her, as he suddenly sees the large diamond ring on her left hand. "What is this?"

Lydia rolls her eyes back to him. "Kent proposed last night," she reveals to him. "I had no choice but to say yes or our cover would have been blown. I have no intention of marrying him."

Mac shakes his head back to her, knowing that they are playing with time now. If they can't find something soon to counter the blackmail, Kent will marry Lydia and there's nothing Mac can do to stop it. "We have to act quickly then," Mac tells her. "We have to find something, anything, to help us."

"I know," Lydia grabs his hand. "You have to trust me with this. I will uncover something Mac. I won't lose what we have seemingly rediscovered in one another."

"So, you're feeling it too?"

"The spark, the connection, the love between us?" she asks him with a sly smile on her face. "Yea, I feel it."

Mac smiles back to her and leans in and kisses her on the lips. "I love you, Lydia."

"I love you too Mac," she replies to him. "Now, you should go before Kent gets home. And, I need to focus on finding something that will get Sabine and Kent out of our lives for good."

"How was your night with Lydia?" Sabine asks Kent as she walks into his office at Blackmore Ltd. She knows that she tried to seduce Mac the previous night, but he claimed he was too tired, which was upsetting, but she also realizes that this arrangement is still new and it may take some time to get back on track with Mac.

Kent looks up from his paperwork and smiles back to his co-conspirator. "We got engaged, again," he reveals to her.

"What?" Sabine shrieks back to him. "My God, that was fast. Congratulations, Kent."

"Thank you," Kent stands up from his chair. "Lydia and I, we've been through so much together, that I knew it wouldn't take long before we got back together, officially, in every way."

"I couldn't be happier for you and my sister," Sabine replies to him. "I just hope that Mac and I can get back to that spot."

"You didn't have as much luck, I take it?"

"No," Sabine shakes her head. "I tried to get him into bed but he claimed he was too tired."

"He is the most stubborn man," Kent reminds her. "If he told you he needs time, he will take as much of as he needs. But, now that Lydia and I are engaged, his time frame may speed up a little."

"You're right," Sabine smiles back to him. "I'll have to tell him this news and see what his reaction is."

"You should," Kent nods back to her. "I can't thank you enough for coming up with this idea, Sabine. We make a pretty good team."

"Yes, we do," Sabine purses her lips together. "And, as a team, we are going to get everything that we've ever wanted."

"I hope this isn't a bad time," Celeste announces as she moves into the living room of the Rockwell mansion and spots Cole pouring himself a brandy. "But, I had to see you. This couldn't wait."

Cole turns around and sees Celeste. Suddenly, all of his emotions of her sleeping with Marat come flooding back to him. He realizes he has put them on the back burner because of these murder charges that he has been dealt with. But seeing here now, he can't help but realize that he does still have some type of feelings for her.

"Celeste, I'm really not in the mood to deal with this today," he says back to her. "I don't know if you've heard, but I was arrested for Dixie's murder."

"I have heard," Celeste nods back to him. "It's been all over the news. I know you well enough to know that you'd never kill anyone though. So, I know this is a mistake."

"Wow," Cole says before he takes a sip of his drink. "Despite everything we've been through, you still believe in me."

"I just know you, that's all," she replies to him. "But, this isn't you or me. It's about Lex."

Cole arches his eyebrow. "What about him?"

"I don't know what is going on, but something isn't right. I think something could be very wrong with him."

"Why do you say that? What's going on?"

Celeste takes a deep breath as she is about to begin to tell him the story of Lex talking to himself. Before she can get into though, Cole's phone rings. He pulls it out of his pocket and realizes that it's his father.

"Sorry, I have to take this," he tells her. "Dad, what is it? Really? Yes, I'll be right there," he hangs up the phone. "Sorry, Celeste, this has to wait. I have to get to the police station."

Houston opens the door from Kent's office at Blackmore Ltd and sighs. He had hoped that together they would have been able to come up with something to counter the potential rare diamonds that Rockwell Mining might get from the wild life preserve, but they haven't been able to come up with anything as of yet.

"That's fine," he says to himself. "I can focus on finding out what Tanner is hiding and then once I do, I can help Dad with the company. But, right now, my main goal is getting Stacey back."

He turns and looks at the elevators and sees Tanner waiting for one. Houston immediately arches his eyebrow. "I should follow him," he whispers to himself. "I can figure out he is up too and end this once and for all."

Marat slowly opens the door to Mac's office at Rockwell Mining and feels his heart skip a beat when he sees Stacey sitting behind the desk. He moves into the office and clears his throat, causing his wife to look and acknowledge him.

"You're back in town I see," she puts her face back into the paperwork in front of her. "How lovely of you to stop by."

"I couldn't stay away," Marat replies to her. "I couldn't stay away from my beautiful wife."

Stacey sighs and looks back at him. "Let me ask you a question, Marat," she stands up from her chair. "Was I the first woman you've seen since you've been back in town?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, who else have you seen since you've been back?"

Marat shrugs. "I've seen a lot of people," he replies to her. "People at the airport. The limo driver. The front desk at the club…"

"Celeste?" she asks him. "Did you see Celeste?"

"I ran into her at the club, yes," Marat admits to her. "She was having breakfast when I happened to see her."

"So, you come home and want me to be happy and joyful, but I wasn't the first woman in your life that you wanted to see. What does that tell you about us? What does that tell you about our marriage?"

"She's carrying my child, Stacey. I love you, but I'm not going to ignore Celeste or my baby."

"I don't want you to ignore her!" Stacey shouts back to him. "I want you to admit that you and Celeste have a connection! There is something between the two of you and the sooner you admit that, the better off we'll all be!"

"I want our marriage to work," he moves closer to her, as she moves to the bar and pours herself a brandy. "I want us to put us back together."

"I want a divorce," she swallows the first mouthful of brandy. "I want to end this marriage."

"You don't mean that!"

"Like hell I don't," she turns around and glares at him. "The sooner, the better. I want to forget this shame of a marriage ever happened!"

A short time later, Lex and Cole are standing next to one another in Mac's office as they wait for an update from the Kelsey Lake mine. As soon as they realized that Grant might pull the contract from Rockwell Mining and the mine, they went ahead with a plan to see if the wild life preserve next to the mine had the rare diamonds that they believed they did. Cole knows that he had to convince Madison Stewart of this, but she was seemingly on board with the idea once he explained it to her. Of course, the two brothers had alternating ideas of what they should do; Cole wanted to see if the diamonds existed while Lex didn't want to disrupt the protected wild life grounds. They came to a common consensus that they would enter the preserved area underground to see if the diamonds existed, and if they did, they would see what else they could do. Now, they are waiting to hear back from first initial sweep of the area.

"What do you think they have uncovered?" Lex asks Cole, who is looking out the window of the office.

"I don't know," Cole admits to him. "Part of me hopes no diamonds exist, because if they do, it means we will want more and who knows what will happen to that land."

Lex uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, but if they don't exist, no harm, no foul."

"Exactly."

Before Lex can reply, the door to the office opens and Madison Stewart walks inside. "Gentlemen, I'm glad you're both here."

"Madi, thanks for coming over," Cole looks at her as she smiles back to him, still thinking he is an attractive young man. "Please, tell us how it went."

"It off without a hitch," she looks at Cole. "The crew were able to go under the preserve, nothing was impacted at all."

"That's great news," Lex replies to her. "Do you know if they were able to find any diamonds?"

"They did," Madison advises them. "I'm not an expert on diamonds, but they did look pretty amazing."

Cole turns and smiles at Lex. "We have to tell Dad, this could change everything. Thank you, Madison, thank you so much."

"My pleasure," she purses her lips back to him.

Houston opens the door to the club and moves inside as he recalls being at Blackmore Ltd. a short while earlier when he saw Tanner leaving the office; that's when Houston realized that he had to follow Tanner in hopes of uncovering what he is hiding. If he is able to uncover the secrets Tanner is keeping, he still believes that he will be able to get back into Stacey's good graces, and that's all he wants.

He pauses when he sees Tanner scanning the dining room, but he doesn't move into the dining room. Instead, Tanner starts to move up the stairs to go to the guest rooms. Houston slowly creeps up the stairs behind Tanner, until they get to the third floor. Tanner moves through the hallway until he gets to his room. He pulls out his room card, and unlocks the door.

"Hey, you're here, we have to talk," Tanner says as he opens the door and moves inside. Houston rushes through the hallway and is able to peer through the door behind it automatically closes behind Tanner.

"That was Grant Shaw," Houston whispers to himself. "Why are Tanner and Grant sharing a hotel room together?"

Inside the room, Grant stands up and looks at his lover. "What's going on? I've had a hell of a morning?"

"Yea, so have I."

"Why? I thought Odette would be pleased with the progression of the plan?"

"She is," Tanner waves his hand in the air. "But, something happened last night that I haven't told anyone, including Odette. And, I don't want her to know."

Grant arches his eyebrow. "What is it?"

"Houston Blackmore knows that I'm the one who told his mother that Celeste Baldwin is pregnant," Tanner reveals to him. "He was asking me all these questions. I think I deflected, but I can't be certain."

"What are you going to do?"

"I don't know," Tanner admits to him. "But, I have to make sure he doesn't' snoop around too much. We've come too far to let this plan be exposed now."

***

Cole opens the door the police station and rushes inside, immediately spotting Mac in Garrett's office. Cole rushes over to the door and barges inside. "I got here as soon as I could. What's going on?"

"The results of the autopsy are back," Mac reveals to his son as he throws a report down on Garrett's desk. "The cause of death was a drug overdose. No sign of a struggle. No sign of murder. You have to drop all charges against my son, Garrett. And, you have to do this now."

"My God, Dad, this is incredible!" Cole gets a huge smile on his face. "I don't know how you did this, but thank you."

"Not so fast," Garrett stands up. "You expect me to believe that your own, personally, hired medical team came up with these results all on their own?"

"That's exactly what I expect you to believe," Mac looks back at the detective. "I don't care what you believe, these results are legitimate."

"I will have to perform my own autopsy," Garrett replies to him. "There's no way I can take your word for this. You have to understand that?"

"Understand this, Detective," Mac grits his teeth back to him. "Drop the charges. Do you own autopsy, I don't care, but my son is walking out of here a free man. And, if your autopsy results are even slightly different than mine, I will have to pull all my funding from the police station and have you arrested for conspiracy because I hired the best team possible to do perform this. Any difference in results would prove you're out to get my family! You won't get away with this grudge you are seemingly holding against me and my family."

"I'm just doing my job!" a flabbergasted Garrett says, knowing how livid Odette will be with this news.

"Save it," Mac waves his hand in the air. "This is over, Garrett. This is finally over."

***

Lydia opens another drawer of the dresser in the master bedroom of the penthouse, as she is searching for something to help her and Mac leverage the blackmail from Kent and Sabine. She realizes that she is in a time crunch now because she and Kent are engaged; she has to find something that she and Mac can use before it is too late.

She riffles through the clothing that is folded in the drawer, but finds nothing out of the ordinary. "Damn it!" she yells in frustration as she slams the drawer closer. She runs her hand through her blonde hair and sighs heavily.

"If I can't find anything, Mac and I are going to have to actually stay with Kent and Sabine. I can't let that happen," she whispers to herself. "But, Kent really doesn't seem to have anything here, and because I'm supposed to be in the wheel chair, I'm not sure that I can get to Blackmore Ltd."

She moves back to the bed and sits down on it, covering her face with her hands. She looks up as she recalls the previous night, when Kent proposed to her. "He said that we would have already been married…" she says out loud, as she recalls the previous evening. "Wait, that's it. I know exactly what I have to do."

***

Lydia slowly walks back down the stairs of the penthouse, having realized what she has to do to stop Kent and Sabine's plan from continuing. Now, she has to get back into her wheelchair before Kent gets home and catches her walking around. She reaches the base of the stairs when she hears the doorbell ring. She scurries back into her wheelchair and sits down.

"Come in," she calls out from her wheelchair. "Ugh, what the hell do you want?"

Celeste walks into the living room of the penthouse and sits next to Lydia. "I know I'm the last person you want to see, but this can't wait. It's about Lex. I think something is wrong, Lydia. And, you might be the only one who can help him. Unless, you don't want my help?"

"Sit down and shut up," Lydia rolls her eyes. "What do you think is wrong with Lex? And, how can I help, exactly?"

"That's why I'm here," Celeste replies to her. "I'll tell you everything."

***

Lex opens the door to his bedroom door and moves inside as he holds one of the teas that Tanner always provides him. He has no idea why he is so addicted to this tea, but he can't seem to get enough of it. His mind is racing about the fact that he has been feeling guilty about his role in getting Cole arrested; he doesn't know what came over him in wanting to get back at his brother in that way, he should have known better.

"You look a million miles away," Toby says as he appears to Lex. "What's on your mind?"

Lex stands up from the bed and looks at his lover. "Why did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Tell me to find out what happened to Dixie Ryan," Lex replies to him quickly. "Cole was arrested for her murder. Did you know that was going to happen?"

"How would I have known that was going to happen?" Toby shrugs back to him. "I didn't know Cole killed Dixie. I just knew that he got a blow job from Brock. Isn't that why you were mad?"

"I don't know," Lex shakes his head back to him. "Everything is so fucking confusing right now! I can't seem to make sense of anything. And my head, it feels like it's full of fog. What the hell is happening to me?"

"I wish I knew," Toby smirks back to him. "But, we could solve this together."

"How?"

"Let's run away together."

***

Lydia paces back and forth in Kent's office at Blackmore Ltd, her mind racing about Celeste seeing Lex talk to himself and refer to someone named Toby. She had to come to see Kent and Sabine to bust up their plan, but as soon as she's done, she knows that she has to get to the bottom of whatever it is going on with her son.

"I will make sure that you're safe," she whispers to herself as she walks over and pours herself a brandy. She takes a sip just as the door opens and Kent and Sabine emerge together.

"Lydia, what are you doing here?" Sabine asks her. "And, you're walking again? How did this happen?"

"Yes, darling, when did you regain the feelings in your legs?" Kent rushes up to her. "You didn't say anything to me."

"No, I didn't," Lydia replies to him. "I needed to use the time to find something to use against you two and the blackmail you have against Mac and my family."

"I'm not sure I understand," Kent shakes his head back to her. "We are in love, Lydia."

"You didn't think I'd really let you get away with it, did you?" Lydia asks him back. "You blackmailed me into moving back in with you! That's the sickest thing you've ever done, and you've done a lot of things to me and my family."

"Lydia, I don't know what you're getting at, but this is insane," Sabine tries to tell her.

"Shut up Sabine," Lydia spits at her. "You two deserve each other, you know that?"

"I don't care what you think," Kent tells her. "There's nothing you can say or do to make this go away. If you leave me, I will go to the police with the information that Mac and Lex used insider trading to get the Kelsey Lake mine back under the Rockwell Mining umbrella. Mac and Lex will go to jail."

"That's where you're wrong," Lydia whispers back to him. "Because, I have the triumph card."

"What are you talking about?" Sabine asks her.

"Kent you actually reminded me of something last night," Lydia looks at her fiancé. "When you told me that we should be married already; it reminded me of our wedding and why it didn't happen."

"You were arrested," Kent reminds her. "This happened so long ago, why are you bringing it up now?"

"Exactly," Lydia nods back to him. "Because I gave you Mac's bid for the Kelsey Lake mine all those years ago. I was released due to lack of evidence. But suddenly, my memory is fresh as a daisy. I will confess everything, though. I will admit to it all! Not only will you go to jail for shooting Stacey, but you'd get further sentencing for corporate espionage."

"You wouldn't dare," Kent replies to her. "Lydia, this is insane! Why would you do this?"

"Why?" she shrieks back to him. "To end this once and for all Kent. The game is over Kent," Lydia glares at him.
