MOSCOW, RUSSIA

"See, I knew that was the real reason you showed up here," Marat Kafelinkov chuckles back to Sabine Andrews as they stand in his office at the Kremlin. Marat was surprised to see Sabine in Moscow, and she claimed that she was there to see him for a business deal as she also claimed that her daughter, Quinn Cunningham, was living her best life after he kidnapped their son, Jumper. Marat, however, didn't believe a word that came out of Sabine's mouth, and continued to press her for the real reason that she was there, and she just admitted that she wanted Jumper back. "You expect me to return my son to you and that whore of a daughter of yours."

Sabine glares back at him feeling her blood boil. "How dare you speak about Quinn that way!" she hisses back to him. "And yes, of course, I am here to get my grandson. Did you really think you could just take Jumper, and no one would try to track you down?"

"And yet you walked in here pretending that you wanted to do business with me?" Marat cuffs back at her. "What, exactly, are you expecting to do, Sabine? Walk into my office and leave with my son? That will not happen! I will not lose my son, not to you, not to Quinn, not to anyone."

"You don't have to lose Jumper," Sabine replies to him. "You and Quinn, you should be raising him together, like a real family."

Marat chuckles back to her. "You think it's that easy? That daughter of yours, she lied to me, she lied to everyone about Jumper's paternity; she was so desperate to make Deacon Cooper the father, that she didn't care who she hurt in the process."

"That's water under the bridge," Sabine protests back to him. "Quinn has learned her lesson; she wants to be the best mother she can be, and that would include letting you be in Jumper's life! Please, Marat, this can end now without anyone else getting hurt."

"I will not let you or anyone else take my son away," Marat grits his teeth back to her.

Sabine rushes up to Marat and grabs his arm in the process. "Please, Marat, we can do this together."

"Get off me!" Marat throws Sabine off of him, causing her to fall back. She stumbles in her stiletto's and ends up hitting her head on the corner of the desk, causing her to fall unconscious. Marat moves up to her lifeless body and gets a grin on his face. "I guess I have to take care of you now because like I said, no one will ever take Jumper away from me. No one."

***

A fresh layer of sweat covers Deacon Coopers toned chest as he lays next to Quinn Cunningham in the king size bed in their suite in the hotel in Moscow. The two have just finished making love, which they both clearly needed. The events were rather unexpected as they were helping Sabine get ready to go to the Kremlin and then Deacon kissed Quinn; she wasn't ready to kiss him back, but he reminded her that she was still a woman with needs, and that's when they made love to one another.

"That was incredible," Deacon says with a grin on his face. "I didn't realize how much I needed that."

Quinn chuckles back to him before she turns to face him. "I have been so consumed with Jumper that I didn't realize how much I needed that too. You, you're a great lover, Deacon."

"You're incredible, Quinn," he grins back to her. "And now that we have this sexual tension out of the way between us, we can focus on getting Jumper back."

Quinn leans up in the bed. "You've been my rock, Deacon," she says as she looks into his eyes. "I can't thank you enough for all your support."

"You don't need to thank me," he leans in and kisses her on the lips. "Why don't we shower together? Then we can see what's going on with your Mom?"

"You read my mind," she winks back to him.

"I don't think I heard you correctly," a stunned Vivian Blackmore asks Dyhannah Cooper as they stand in the foyer of Vivian's mansion. Dyhannah just asked Vivian for a favor to help her with her fiancé, Chase Cooper. Vivian is rattled by this request because she and Dyhannah have never been close, in fact, they often were fighting over Chase, so Vivian realizes that Dyhannah must be feeling desperate if she needs a favor from. "You need a favor from me?"

Dyhannah uneasily chuckles back to her. "I am sure that this was the last thing that you expected today, but it is true, I do need your help with Chase."

Vivian gulps back to her. "What is this about, Dyhannah? You know that Chase and I are friends…"

"I do know that," Dyhannah nods back to her. "And that's why I am hoping that you'll be willing to help me because deep down, Chase loves me, and I love him. We are engaged to be married."

"Yes, I know all of this."

"I am starting to wonder if my job is coming between us," Dyhannah admits to her. "And that scares me because I know that Chase has, how do I say this? A short attention span."

"You suspect that Chase might be cheating?" Vivian asks her in surprise.

Dyhannah shrugs back to her. "I…I want to be sure before we get married, that's all."

"I'm not sure what you expect me to do?"

Dyhannah gets a sly grin on her face. "Well, I know that you and Chase a long history," Dyhannah tells her, as she recalls seeing Chase and Vivian embracing at the country club. "I was wondering if you…if you could make a pass at Chase and we can see if he takes the bait. I know you, though, would never follow through with anything with Chase because you're happily married to Kent, right Vivian?"

"I am very happy with Kent," Vivian tells her. "For what it's worth, Dyhannah, I don't think that Chase will stray on you. Like you said, he loves you very much."

"Then this shouldn't be an issue, right?" Dyhannah asks her. "Please, Vivian, make a pass at Chase so I know once and for all if he wants me or if he will leave me at the first sign of another beautiful woman."

Vivian finds herself nodding back to her. "Yes, okay," Vivian tells her. "I will help you because not only am I a happily married woman but I'm also positive that Chase will turn me down flat."

***

A short time later, Dyhannah scurries into the country club looking to grab a cocktail. She is on cloud nine over the fact that Vivian has agreed to help her see if Chase will cheat on her. She knows that because she has seen Chase and Vivian in close encounters recently, that this will give her peace of mind moving forward.

As she moves towards the bar, she happens to see Casper Ross sitting there with a whiskey sour in front of him. She arches her eyebrow realizing that he could be the final piece to putting her plan into motion. "Is this seat taken?" she asks him as she sits next to him.

"By all means," Casper replies to her before he takes a sip of his cocktail.

"You're Casper Ross, yes? The private investigator?" Dyhannah asks him before she orders a champagne cocktail.

"I guess I have a reputation," he chuckles back to her. "But yes, that's me."

"I thought so," Dyhannah purses her lips together before she takes a sip of her drink. "I have a job for you, Mr. Ross, if you're interested."

Casper turns to her and arches his eyebrow. "I'm listening, what kind of job do you have for me?"

Kent Blackmore rushes back to his office at Blackmore Ltd. where he sees his son, Houston Blackmore, pacing back and forth. They were just visited by Kent's other son, Lexington Rockwell, who has learned that they are working with Dyhannah to try to take down Rockwell Mining so Kent can put his company back on top. Lex, however, was determined to stop them and told Kent to do the right thing.

"Please tell me that you were able to get through to Lex," Houston stops moving and looks at his father, who moves back to his desk.

"I'm afraid not," Kent shakes his head back to his son. "He was furious that we were even considering using Dyhannah's plan to take down the Rockwell's and Rockwell Mining."

"We have to stop him before he tells Mac or anyone else."

"If he does," Kent looks back at Houston with intent. "We could be in serious hot water; if they learn that Dyhannah was giving us information on Rockwell's collaboration with Roboto, they could file charges against us."

"Dad," Houston cuts his father off. "You have to get through to Lex! You have to tell him not to say anything!"

Kent sighs heavily back to him. "That's the thing," he admits to him in a whisper. "I'm not sure there's anything I can say or do to get through to Lex; I don't think there's anything we can do to stop him from telling everyone what he knows."

***

Lex steps off the elevator at Rockwell Mining and makes a beeline for the main office. His blood is boiling over the fact that Kent and Houston are plotting with Dyhannah to try to bring down Rockwell Mining by attempting to steal the collaboration with Roboto and Natasha Calimo. Lex tried to get through to Kent but his pleads fell on deaf ears.

He opens the door to the main office and see his parents, Mac and Lydia Rockwell, behind the desk looking at some files. He arches his eyebrow as he wonders why his mother is there, since she doesn't work there.

"Am I interrupting something?" Lex asks as his parents, who look back at him.

"Not at all," Mac smiles back to him. "I was just briefing Lydia on some of the on-goings at the company."

Lex arches his eyebrow back to them. "Why? What's going on?"

Lydia chuckles back to her son. "As you know, darling, Nathan is in the hospital and we have no idea if or when he will be getting out," Lydia explains to him. "So as a result, as his wife, I have executed his power of attorney and I have taken over control of the various aspects of his life, including his position as co-CEO of Rockwell Mining. So, you see, your father and I, we will be working together now."

"That's…uh…great," Lex forces a smile on his face.

"You don't seem overly happy by the news?" Mac looks back at him. "What's going on, Lex?"

"I…I have tell you guys something," Lex gulps back to them. "It's about Kent and Blackmore Ltd."

"I heard that Kent is back at Blackmore," Lydia replies to him. "Let me guess, he is trying to get you to go back to Blackmore and leave Rockwell Mining?"

"He did offer me a job," Lex reveals to them. "But I turned them down; I want to stay working here."

"We are happy to hear that," Mac smiles back to him. "So, was that your news? What did you have to tell us?"

Lex sighs back to him. "Kent and Houston are planning something, something that is not good."

Mac and Lydia look at one another with concern. "Dyhannah is plotting some kind of revenge," Lex continues to tell them. "She is planning to give Kent and Houston details on our partnership with Natasha Calimo and Roboto so Blackmore Ltd. can try to steal the deal from us."

"What?" Lydia gasps back to him. "I can't believe this!"

"Neither can I," Lex admits to them. "But I had to tell you guys; you have to know what they are planning so you can stop it."

"Thank you for telling us," Mac nods back to him. "I will stop Kent before he even starts with this bullshit. And as for Dyhannah, she is going to live to regret the day she met me."

***

A short time later, Mac and Lydia open the front doors to the police department and usher inside. Mac pauses for a moment when he sees his former lover, Helena Grant, behind her desk. Immediately, he is taken back to finding out that she had an affair with his brother, Nathan Lockhart, which was exposed at Nathan and Sabine's wedding. Mac, of course, ended their romance after learning about her entanglement, but he did care for her, so it was a difficult time for him.

"Mac," Helena approaches him and Lydia. "It's good to see you."

"You as well," Mac replies to her quickly. "Unfortunately, this is not a social call. We are here because we need your help."

Helena arches her eyebrow back to her former lover. "What's going on?"

"We found out that Kent Blackmore and Dyhannah Cooper are sharing corporate secrets," Lydia informs her. "Dyhannah is working with Rockwell Mining and she is giving Kent, who is working at Blackmore Ltd. details on one of our projects. You need to arrest both of them immediately."

Helena chuckles back to them. "Do you have any proof of these accusations?"

Mac and Lydia look at one another before they look back at the police detective. "Uh, no, we don't," Mac admits to her. "We just found out ourselves."

"Well, I can't really proceed without evidence," Helena tells them. "If you can prove these allegations, then we can definitely proceed."

Houston moves into the country club and makes a beeline for the bar. After hearing Kent tell him that Lex is likely to reveal their plan with Dyhannah to the Rockwell's, Houston realized he could use a drink. He just hopes that Kent is, somehow, able to convince Lex not to spill about their plan to try steal the collaboration with Roboto.

He gets a sly grin on his face when he sees Celeste Baldwin sitting at the bar with a vodka martini in front of her. He recalls the last time he saw his friend where she made a subtle pass at him; he turned her down saying that they should remain friends, but he has been to stop thinking about since they did have sex before, and it was a good time.

"Looks like we had the same idea, again," he chuckles as he sits next to her. "Any news on the Cole front?"

Celeste turns to look back at his friend as she recalls how she has informed him that her former lover, Cole Rockwell, has maintained that they will not get back together. Celeste has no idea what else to do to try to get through to him, but she is starting to lose hope that they will ever get back together.

"No, I haven't seen or heard from him since the last time that he told me we were over," she admits to him. "And I guess that's fine; I am just trying to figure out how I am going to move on from him because I have loved him for so long."

"That's understandable."

"Have you heard from Stacey since she left town?"

"Not a peep," Houston admits to her before he takes a sip of his beer. "But I wasn't expecting too; and, I want to give her the space she needs to get better."

"You're a good man, Houston. I hope Stacey realizes that one day," Celeste smiles back to him.

Houston chuckles back to her. "I hope so too, but in the meantime, I have a lot going on at Blackmore Ltd."

Celeste looks back at him in surprise. "What's going on at Blackmore? Anything that I can help with?"

"I wish there was something you could do," he admits to her as they lock eyes. "Short story is that my half-brother, Lex, might just ruin everything my Dad and I have planned."

Behind them, Cole appears and sees Houston and Celeste together, deep in conversation. He, immediately, recalls how he saw them making love a few months earlier. Now, he is seeing them together, again, and he can't help but wonder if they are sleeping together again - and even if they are, he doesn't know why it is bothering him so much.

Vivian steps off the elevator and moves into the hallway of the second level of the country club. She moves towards the door to Chase's suite and prepares herself to ask him for dinner, which is a part of her plan with Dyhannah to see if Chase would cheat on her with another woman. She knows that she and Chase have always been close, so she is the perfect person to help Dyhannah with this; and this way if Chase is interested, she is saving him from another doomed marriage.

She knocks on the door and waits for him to answer. "Vivian, what a lovely surprise," Chase beams at his former wife. "Do you want to come in?"

"Thank you," she replies to him as she moves inside the suite. "I actually can't stay too long, but I was at the club and I had an idea."

"An idea? That sounds intriguing."

"Would you like to have dinner with me?" Vivian asks him as she purses her lips together. "I can make a reservation at a quiet table downstairs before I leave."

Chase smiles back to her. "Well, Dyhannah is going to be working late, so I'd love nothing more than to have dinner with you, Vivian. Make the arrangements and send me the details, and I will be there."

"Perfect," Vivian chuckles. "I'll see you later tonight, then."

Vivian leaves the suite and takes a deep breath once she is in the hallway. She pulls out her phone and sends Dyhannah a text message, "Chase and I are having dinner tonight."

After she pushes send, she quickly rushes off, knowing that she has things to do before her dinner date with Chase, but is thrilled that he has agreed to the date.

"Okay, are you sure you're good with this plan?" Mac asks Lydia as they stand together in the main office at Rockwell Mining. "When Dyhannah gets here, we will purposely give her incorrect information about the collaboration with Roboto; that way, she will give those details to Kent and we can stay ahead in this game."

"Yes, yes, I think the plan is perfect," Lydia tells him as she pours herself a drink from the bar. "The fact is, we now know the type of barracuda Dyhannah really is; she is a back-stabbing bitch and we won't let her get away with this."

"I couldn't agree more," Mac replies to her. "We got this, Lydia. We won't let Dyhannah and Kent win."

Before Lydia can respond, the door to the office opens and Dyhannah appears. "Oh, you're both here," she announces, and Lydia and Mac quickly make eye contact with one another. "I had heard that Lydia was taking Nathan's place while he was recovering."

"That's correct," Mac replies to her. "I hope you can accept that?"

"Of course," Dyhannah smirks back to them. "Whatever you say, boss. By the way, what is the latest with the project with Natasha Calimo and Roboto? I was hoping that we'd get an update on the pink diamonds being excavated from Canada."

"I, actually, just got a call from our contracted in Canada," Lydia reveals to her as she moves closer to the desk and sets her scotch down. "They are delayed, and we won't know for how long."

"Delays?" Dyhannah asks her in surprise. "What kind of delays?"

"They are pretty far north," Mac continues to tell her. "Apparently, close to the site where we want to excavate, there are some polar bears."

"I am not following," Dyhannah admits to them. "What do polar bears have to do with us getting those pink diamonds?"

Lydia chuckles back to her. "The polar bear is on the in-danger species list," she tells her. "Meaning, until they move, we have to wait. We can't do anything that could kill those bears."

"Unbelievable," Dyhannah shakes head back in shock. "Well, let's hope those damn bears move sooner than later, otherwise the entire deal might fall through!"

***

A short time later, Dyhannah is standing in her office at Rockwell Mining with her phone to her ear. She is waiting for Kent to pick up his phone so she can tell him the latest information that she just received from Mac and Lydia on the collaboration with Roboto, which has seemingly hit a snag.

"Kent, yes, it's me," she whispers into the phone while she looks at her doorway to ensure no one can hear her. "We need to meet, I have some new information."

"Yes, that's perfect," she says after he responds to her. "I'll see you then."

She hangs up the phone and gets a sly grin on her face. "The best part about this plan is that Mac and Lydia have no idea what I am doing. They will not know what hit them when I am done with them."

***

"Who was that?" Houston asks Kent as he moves back into the main office at Blackmore Ltd. and sees his father hanging up the phone. Houston, after having a drink with Celeste, came to a realization and headed back to the office to discuss it with his father. "Please tell me it wasn't Dyhannah Cooper."

"Actually, it was," Kent replies to him quickly. "She wants to meet me. Apparently, she has some new information on the Roboto deal and wants me to know."

"Dad," Houston glares back at him. "I…I think this is a bad idea. If we can stop this now, then Lex won't have a leg to stand on if and when he tells Mac and Lydia what we are up too."

"You know, son, you might be right," Kent admits to him. "I'll go and meet Dyhannah and tell her that this plan has to end; if Blackmore Ltd. is the right company to work with Roboto, then we will get the deal on our own."

"I know that you thought this was a good idea, but with Lex being a wild card, I do think that this is the best thing for us and the company," Houston nods back to him. "I'm proud of you for realizing that, Dad."

Kent smiles back to him. "See, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks," he winks back to him. "Wish me luck with my meeting."

***

Casper sits at the bar of the country club with a drink in front of him. He takes a sip of it before he turns around slowly and sees Vivian and Chase sitting at a table together, about to have their dinner date. He turns back and smiles to himself before he pulls out his phone.

"I have a good line of sight for the dinner," he types into his phone into a text to Dyhannah. "I'll be in touch with you once I see what they end up doing."

Meanwhile, Vivian and Chase look at one another as they sit across from one another. "Thank you, again, for having dinner with me tonight," Vivian purses her lips together.

"Of course," Chase nods back to her. "If you didn't give me the invite, I would have had, yet another, dinner alone. So, that in itself is a victory for me."

"Well, in that case, I suggest we order a bottle of champagne to celebrate," Vivian chuckles back to him.

"You don't look like you're in good mood," Lex announces to Cole as he moves into the main office at Rockwell Mining just as his older brother throws a file across the room in frustration. Lex can only imagine what has set Cole off this time, as his brother has been known to have a short temper. "Is it safe for me to enter?"

Cole sighs heavily back to Lex before he moves over and starts to pick up the scattered paper that is on the floor. "You're fine, I'm just having a tantrum."

"Poor file," Lex chuckles back to him. "Do you want me to make you a drink? It looks like you could use one."

"A double," Cole replies to him as he finishes collecting the papers and sets the file back down on the desk, as Lex moves to the bar and pours a double brandy. "Sorry you had to see that, I guess it wasn't my finest moment."

"I've seen far worse from you," Lex chuckles as he passes him the brandy. "What's going on? Did the collaboration with Roboto fall through?"

"No," Cole shakes his head. "My mood, actually, has nothing to do with Rockwell Mining at all."

"Then it must be a woman," Lex winks back to him. "Are things still tense between you and Celeste?"

"Celeste and I are over," Cole admits to him. "But I did happen to see her with Houston a little while ago and they were looking very cozy."

"With Stacey out of town, it only makes sense that Houston is trying to move on. He and Celeste do have a history together," Lex reminds him.

"Ugh, I know," Cole huffs back to him. "I…I guess I just hate that Celeste is moving on with Houston, of all people."

"Cole," Lex looks back at him with intent. "You've made it clear to Celeste that you're over; you can't expect her not to move on with someone, even if that someone is Houston."

"You're right," Cole nods to his brother.

"Do you know what I think?" Lex asks him as Cole shrugs his shoulders back to him. "I think that, deep down, you still care for Celeste and you're feeling jealous seeing her with Houston."

"After everything Celeste and I have put each other through, we are toxic," Cole tells him.

"You can say that, but your actions are showing that you still want Celeste. If you want her, Cole, now is the time to act, before she and Houston get even more serious."

MOSCOW, RUSSIA

"Two rounds of hot sex and I feel like I am famished," Quinn purses her lips to Deacon as she holds the hotel suite's telephone to her ear. "Do you want me to order you some food too?"

"Yea, sure, anything is fine," Deacon replies to her as he sits on the bed and opens his computer screen. "While you do that, I'm going to see if I can figure out if your mother has made any inroads with Marat."

Quinn places her order to the room service assistant while Deacon puts his headphones in. "Sabine, are you there? Can you hear me?" he asks into the small microphone. He starts to hit some keys on the laptop when Sabine doesn't respond to him. "Sabine? Are you there?"

But there is only silence coming from the wire. Quinn turns to Deacon, who feels the blood leave his face. "I…I can't get through to your mother."

"What?" Quinn gasps back to her. "Could it be the connection?"

"The wire has been disabled," Deacon informs her, as he shows her the screen of the laptop. "I think something has happened to Sabine!"

***

Meanwhile, in the basement of the Kremlin, there is a room where they take the scrap metals and diamonds to dispose of them. Any time a diamond can't be used, the company has them destroyed so another company doesn't try to use them in a way that the Kremlin doesn't support. In the basement, there are three large vats of acid that they throw the diamonds and metals into, to destroy them. There are long walk ways up to each vat of acid that are mental; this is a safety precaution so no one gets close to the acid, as it could be deadly.

On the floor next to one of the large vats, Sabine is tied to a chair as Marat paces back and forth in front of her. "You shouldn't have made me do this," Marat stops and glares at her. "This all could have been prevented had you and your daughter just left me alone!"

"You have Jumper," Sabine hisses back to him. "No one will stop until we have our baby back!"

Marat chuckles as he holds up the wire that he found on her while she was unconscious. "You see this?" he whispers to her before he throws the wire into the acid, which starts to bubble as it burns it down quickly. "Now that it's gone, Quinn has no way of figuring out where you are. It's time that you all start playing by my rules!"

"Please Marat," Sabine's lower lip quivers. "Don't hurt me, okay? We can work this out, I know we can! Just let me go and I can make this all go away!"

"You had your chance," he tells her. "Like I said, it is time to play by my rules, and no one elses."

***

"Thank you, again, for having dinner with me," Chase tells Vivian as they walk towards the door of his suite on the second level of the country club. "With Dyhannah being so busy with work, it is nice to still have a companion to dine with."

Vivian purses her lips together as they face one another. "It was my pleasure, Chase," she looks back into his eyes. "You and I, we've been through a lot together over the years; I really am grateful that we have been able to stay close."

"I couldn't agree more," Chase smiles back to her, unaware that Casper is watching them from a far.

Casper, at that moment, pulls out his cell phone and starts to snap some pictures of Vivian and Chase. Just then, Vivian leans in and kisses Chase on the lips. The kiss only lasts for a moment before they part ways.

Chase uneasily chuckles back to her. "Vivian, what was that for?"

"I…I don't know," Vivian admits to him. "I guess I just got caught up in the moment."

"I'm flattered, I really am," Chase replies to her. "But you're finally happily married to Kent and, despite the troubles with Dyhannah, I do love her. We can't cross that bridge."

"You're right," Vivian nods back to him, thrilled that he is rejecting her. "Let's call it a night?"

"Of course, but let's be in touch soon."

***

Lex steps off the elevators at Blackmore Ltd. into the dark foyer. The office is closed now as it is late, so the lights are off to save power. He knows, however, exactly where he is going, so he doesn't need a lot of light. He makes a beeline towards the main office, where he opens the door. He moves to the desk and turns the lamp on to give him some light.

"Okay," he whispers to himself as he starts to search the files that are on Kent's desk. "Where is the file on Roboto."

"Ah, there it is," he says as he opens it. Once the file is open, Lex uses his phone and starts to take pictures of all the information that Kent has on the collaboration. "Now I have proof that you have been getting details from Dyhannah on this project."

He closes the file and shuts off the lamp before he leaves the office, hoping that he can still stop the plan before it's too late.

"Thanks for meeting me so quickly," Dyhannah tells Kent as they stand together in the alley behind the Rockwell Mining building. "This felt like it was critical for you to know."

"I am actually glad that you called," Kent replies to her quickly as he moves closer to her. "This plan, Dyhannah, it has to stop. We have to end our alliance before this escalates."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Dyhannah asks him in confusion. "We had a deal, Kent! Do not go back on that now!"

"I know that we had a deal," Kent tells her quickly. "But someone has found out about the plan; and that someone, could ruin everything for both of us!"

Dyhannah shakes her head in disbelief. "Who has found out? Maybe we can get them to keep their mouth shut?"

"Lexington Rockwell knows," Kent continues to shock Dyhannah. "And I somehow don't think that he is going to keep this a secret from his family."

Meanwhile, in the study of the Rockwell mansion, Lydia gets a grin on her face as she looks at her laptop screen while Mac pours her a glass of red wine.

"This is perfect," Lydia tells him. "Right now, Dyhannah and Kent are in the alley," she tells him as he moves back to the sofa. "And they have no idea, but they are on the security camera footage. We are going to get the proof we need so we can take these images to Helena Grant so they can be arrested. We are going to bury them!"

"I'll drink to that," Mac chuckles back to her as they toast their glasses together.

***

Meanwhile, downstairs in the living room of the mansion, Lex moves to the bar to get a drink as he feels like needs something to take the edge off after he just broke into Kent's office to get the images of the Roboto file; now, he realizes, that even if Kent and Dyhannah try to deny their involvement, he has proof.

"Ah, there you are," Casper says as he moves into the living room and sees his lover at the bar. "If you're making a drink, I'd love to have one with you."

"Coming right up babe," Lex replies to him. "How was your day?"

Casper uneasily chuckles back to him as he thinks about how he snapped pictures of Vivian and Chase kissing, which he will give to Dyhannah in the morning. "It's been eventful, how about you?"

"Yea, that's putting it mildly," Lex replies to him as he passes him a brandy. "But I think things will start to calm down once I put an end to this game that Kent is playing. I hate to go against him, but I have to do the right thing."

"You've always done the right thing. That what makes you so special."

"Ah, thanks," Lex blushes back to him. "By the way, you never did answer my question that I asked you," Lex says as they lock eyes. "The investigation that my mother hired you for, what was that about, exactly?"

Casper sighs back to him as he knows that Lydia told him not to say anything to anyone about her looking into Dane's past, but he can't help but think that he can trust his lover. "If I'm honest, your mother didn't want me to say anything," he tells Lex. "But I trust you, Lex. So, if I tell you, can you promise that this will stay between us?"

"Of course," Lex nods back to him. "What you and I discuss is always just between us."

"Lydia was looking into Dane Ashby's past," Casper reveals to him. "She wanted me to dig into Dane's past before Lucinda married him."

"What?" Lex gasps back to him. "What did you uncover?"

"That is something your mother will have to tell you," Casper chuckles back to him.

At the entry way of the living room, Dane stands frozen as he just overheard Casper reveal that Lydia was looking into his past to see he had any skeletons in his closet that needed to be revealed before he married Lucinda. Suddenly, he can't help but wonder if this is the reason as to why Lucinda has been so distant and not ready to get married.

"Damn you Lydia," Dane whispers to himself. "Damn you straight to hell!"
