"You have a lot of explaining to do mother," Cole Rockwell storms into living room of the Rockwell mansion and immediately pours himself, and his sister Stacey Rockwell, a brandy. "How could you suddenly reproduce an amendment to Mac's will that made Lex the CEO of Rockwell Mining?"

Stacey takes a heavy sip of her brandy and looks over at Lydia Rockwell waiting for her answer. She is still reeling, like Cole, that Lydia has found this amendment in their father's will that actually makes Lex Rockwell the CEO of Rockwell Mining and not Mac Rockwell's younger wife, Carmen Santos.

"Why are you the two of you so upset by this?" Lydia asks them back as he puts her hand on her hip. "We have been desperate for a way to get that wench Carmen out of the company! And now, we have all the information we need to do just that!"

"Because," Stacey looks back at her with intent. "Cole and I are the ones left on the outside. Why the hell would Dad leave Lex in charge?"

Lydia sighs back to her children as she looks over at them. "He did run Rockwell Mining before," she reminds Stacey and Cole, who look at one another. "That might be the reason?"

"It just doesn't seem fair," Cole huffs back to her. "He's not even a real Rockwell!"

"Cole Rockwell!" Lydia shrieks back to him. "How dare you say that about your brother! He has proven himself to be a solid business man, this is exactly what MacKenzie would have done!"

"Then why does it feel like it's something he wouldn't have done?" Stacey shrugs her shoulder before she takes a sip of her brandy as Lydia gulps heavily.

CABO AZUL, SAN JOSE DEL CABO

Carmen and Noel Baker lay next to one another in loungers next to the large infinity pool on the grounds of the Cabo Azul resort with two margaritas next to them. The hot sun is beating down on them as they each have a fresh layer of sweat from the heat.

"God this is paradise," Carmen licks her lips before she picks up her drink and takes a sip of it. "I could stay here forever with you."

Noel chuckles back to her as he wonders if he knows his connection to Lydia; he hopes that she doesn't, but it won't stop him if she does. He knows that by hooking up with her, he has a chance to get what he never got from Lydia: a piece of the Rockwell fortune. Nothing will stop him from getting some of that money, he thinks to himself.

"Maybe that could be arranged," Noel chuckles back to her. "But, don't you have a company to run?"

"Ugh, yes," Carmen takes off her large Chanel sunglasses and looks over at him. "I'm surprised I haven't had a million calls asking about where I have been. If I am honest after my husband passed away, I just needed a break."

"And another, younger, man," he winks back to her. "How about we head inside and shower and I can take care of you again."

"Mmm," she moans a little to him. "That sounds like heaven."

They start to pack up their belongings when her cell phone rings. "Oh, I should take this," she tells him as she grabs her phone. "Carmen Rockwell … wait, what? That's impossible! No, Lydia will not get away with this! That bitch is trying to take my company from me and I won't let her!"

"What was that all about?" Noel asks her concerned by her tone.

"This vacation is over," she looks at him with intent. "I have to get back and save my job!"

"Okay, I think we are almost packed," Celeste Baldwin tells Mac Rockwell as she puts a bag into the trunk of her car. The 2004 Toyota Corolla isn't exactly the kind of car that Celeste has become accustomed to driving the last few years, but she is grateful to have the vehicle to get her and Mac to San Antonio. Besides, the less flashy car will help keep their identities a secret from the general public as they drive across the country together.

"This might sound weird," Mac moves up next to his lover and puts another bag in the trunk. "But, I'm going to miss this cabin. It's been a wonderful time here."

Celeste smiles back to him. "It certainly has," she purses her lips together. "It was the place that brought us together."

"That's been my favorite part," he nods back to her. "You and I, we make a very good team."

"I'm glad you think so," Celeste smiles back to him. "Okay, so we can have dinner here tonight and leave first thing tomorrow morning. Sound good?"

Suddenly, Mac has another flash in front of his eyes. He can see a man and himself rush into an office; inside the office they stop and talk for a moment before the younger man finds a body behind the desk. Mac can see himself rushing around the desk and seeing Celeste's bloody body in front of him.

"Mac?" Celeste calls out causing Mac to snap back into reality. "Are you okay?"

"Uh," Mac uneasily looks back at her, as he snaps back into reality. "Yea, I am fine. Sorry, I spaced out for a moment."

Celeste arches her eyebrow wondering if he had a memory flash. She has been wondering if his memories would ever start to come back and maybe they slowly are doing just that. "Are you okay? Do you need to sit down?"

"I'm fine," Mac smiles back to her, not wanting to worry her. "I think I just need a cup of water."

"Okay, I'll be right in," she tells him as she puts one final bag into the car. She turns and sees Mac walking into the cabin. "If you are getting your memory back, it's only a matter of time before you leave me again. I have to do everything I can to stop that from happening. I won't lose you again Mac, I can't."

Cole moves into the country club and quickly walks up to the bar as he needs a drink after the day he has had. He can't believe that Lydia has suddenly produced an amendment to Mac's will that supports that he left all of his shares of Rockwell Mining to Lex; he knows that they have all been desperate to find a way to keep Carmen out Rockwell Mining but this suddenly amendment leaving Lex, of all people, in charge seems unfair to him. On top of that, Lydia and Lucinda Rockwell, his grandmother, revealed to him that Celeste is actually alive and well; this means that his girlfriend, Madison Stewart, is in jail for a crime she didn't commit. Now, he has to figure out where Celeste has disappeared to so he can get Madi out of jail.

"It looks like you really need that scotch," Marat Kafelinkov comes up to Cole and sits next to him before he orders a brandy for himself.

"Marat," Cole looks over at him. "I'm glad you came over. We have to talk."

Marat arches his eyebrow back to him, wondering what Cole has to talk to him about. "We do? What's going on?"

"Before I get into this, you have to promise that you will keep this between you and I," Cole replies to him quickly. "This is critical, Marat."

"Yes, of course," Marat takes a sip of brandy. "Whatever it is, you have my word that it will stay between us."

"Celeste is alive," Cole reveals to him as Marat's eyes open wider in surprise. "The mother of your children is alive and well. Have you heard from her at all?"

"What? How is any of this possible?" Marat asks him quickly, ignoring Cole's question to him.

"I don't know all the details," Cole admits to him. "But, I need to find Celeste because her being alive is the thing that will set Madison free from jail. So, I have to ask you again, have you heard from her at all?"

Marat shakes his head back immediately. "No, I haven't heard anything," he tells Cole quickly. "But, if I can do anything to bring Celeste back to Ashlee and Ivan, I will do it. You have my word on that, Cole. I will help you bring Celeste back to her children."

"Great," Cole uneasily smiles back to him. "But where the hell would she be? And, how do we find her?"

***

The next morning, Cole opens the door to the main office at Rockwell Mining and moves inside as he sees Stacey, Lydia and Lucinda already inside the room. They are waiting for Lex to arrive so he can officially take over as the CEO of Rockwell Mining. He is still reeling from his mother's plan as something about it isn't sitting well with him.

"Where is Lex?" Cole speaks to his family as he pours himself a cup of coffee. "I'd love to get this over and done with."

"Cole, for heavens sake, you have to know that this is for the best," Lydia comes up to her son. "I know that you and Stacey were hoping that Mac would want one of you two to take over, but Lex taking over makes sense as he has always been the most business savvy. Can we just try to remember that this accomplishes everything that we have been working towards? We are getting Carmen Santos out of this company!"

"I know," Cole looks back at Lydia and then over at Lucinda. "It doesn't mean that I like it."

"I agree with Cole," Stacey echoes her brother's statements. "Something about this seems really weird about this entire situation."

"Let's keep that kind of discussion for us privately," Lucinda tells her grandchildren. "The last thing we need is for Carmen to think something is peculiar about this."

"Well, where the hell is Lex?" Cole snaps at everyone. "All he has to do is show up, make the announcement and we can get on with it."

"I wish I knew," Lydia sighs back to him before she looks at her watch and realizes that he is late. "He should have been here by now. I don't know what could be keeping him?"

***

A short time later, Lydia sits alone in the Rockwell Mining office with a brandy in one hand and her phone in the other. She is livid that Lex failed to show up at the office so they could make the announcement that he is the new CEO of the Rockwell Mining. She is sending him a text furiously into her phone, hoping that he will respond to her advising where he was and why he missed the announcement.

"All this hard work and you didn't even show? What the hell is going on with you, Lexington?" she whispers to herself as she takes another sip of her brandy.

Suddenly, the door to the office opens and a bronzed Carmen storms inside, throwing her large Chanel bag next to Lydia. "Well, well, well, look like what the cat dragged in," Lydia quips to her foe. "Where in the hell have you been?"

"Getting some much deserved r&r," Carmen snaps back at her. "I came back as soon as I heard that you and your family were trying to take my job away from me!"

"Trying to? No sweetie, we are," Lydia smirks back to her. "You see, there was an amendment to Mac's will that was located. He left all of his shares to Lexington and he will be the new CEO of this company."

Carmen breaks out into laughter at Lydia's comments back to her. "You think you're so clever, don't you? Well guess what? I don't believe for one second that this so-called amendment is legitimate and I'm going to damn well prove it! And when I do, I will sue your sorry ass for every penny you have."

Lydia finishes her brandy and glares back at Carmen. "If you want a war, sweetheart, you'll have one," she grits her teeth.

Cole gets a grin on his face as he sees Madison Stewart walk up to the visitor's station. She slowly sits down and picks up her telephone receiver.

"Cole, hi," she tells her boyfriend. "It is good to see you."

"It's nice to see you too Madi," Cole replies to her. "It's been a hell of a couple of days so I couldn't wait to see you."

"You're sweet," she says back to him quickly. "Is there anything I can help with?"

"Nah, just the usual Rockwell family drama," he winks back to her. "It seems to follow us everywhere. I do have some news though."

Madi arches her eyebrow. "News? Good news, I hope?"

"I have a lead on a way to get you out of here," he whispers to her. "I don't want to say too much in case someone is listening to us."

Madi leans forward and looks at him with intent. "Really? You think you know of a way to get me out of jail?"

Cole nods back to her. "Marat Kafelinkov are going to work together and if it all pans out, you will be free very soon. I just need you to hang tight, okay?"

Madi uneasily nods back to him. "Yea, I can do that. I am…making friends in here? Don't look concerned, Janice is a sweet woman. She is nice to talk too."

"Well don't get too cozy with her," Cole chuckles back to her. "Because I don't plan on resting until I get you free."

"You certainly are being brave by having lunch with me at the club," Chase Cooper looks over at Vivian Blackmore as they sit at a table in the country club. He knows that his ex-wife, Dyhannah Cooper, has been blackmailing them into staying away from one another because she knows that he and Kent Blackmore worked together years ago to mine on restricted lands in exchange for campaign money, which helped Chase win his election. Vivian, however, has developed a strong backbone and refuses to cave anymore.

Vivian looks back at her lover before she picks up her champagne cocktail and takes a sip of it. "I, frankly, am tired of Dyhannah thinking she can dictate to us if we can see each other or not. That woman has got to be stopped."

Chase chuckles back to her. "I don't disagree with you. I am more concerned that she will throw me, and Kent, in jail if she sees us together."

"Do you really think that will happen?" Vivian asks him back before she takes a bite of her chicken ceasar salad. "Because, I don't think she will actually expose the two of you. I mean she's working for Kent now! Talk about biting the hand that is feeding you."

"I guess it is a risk we are taking."

"You're not upset with me, are you?" Vivian asks him next. "We don't have to stay and finish our lunch if you're concerned, Chase."

"It's fine," Chase waves his hand in the air. "We are almost done eating, so we might as well finish and then get out of here. The chances of Dyhannah showing up and seeing us is slim to none."

"Good, cause I'm enjoying your company," Vivian smiles back to him as she reaches over and grabs his hand.

At the doorway, Dyhannah feels her blood boil at the sight unfolding in front of her. She warned Chase and Vivian about being together and here they are, not only together, but flaunting their relationship in public. "I don't think so," she whispers to herself as she glares at them. "This is not going to end well for either of you."

Stacey paces back and forth in the living room of the Rockwell mansion, unable to stop thinking about what happened the previous day at the country club. She was having a drink when she ran into Marat Kafelinkova, who told her that she gave him up so she could be with Houston Blackmore. Of course, she knows that she did decide to be with Houston because they share a child together: Drake. However, she has been furious with Houston since his affair with Sabine Andrews was exposed. Houston has maintained that he and Sabine are over but when she was leaving the club, she saw Houston and Sabine an embrace. The thought that Houston and Sabine are still lying to her makes her blood boil.

"No, I don't think so Houston," she whispers to herself. "You will not play me for a fool. Not now, not ever again."

"Hey, I'm glad you're here," Houston announces as he moves into the living room. "Ingrid let me in so I could see Drake. How are you?"

Stacey turns and fumes at her former lover. "You really need to start calling ahead before you arrive in my house," she replies to him coldly. "You can't just barge in here whenever you damn well please."

"Whoa, what's going on? Have I done something else to upset you? I thought you said that you'd never come between me and my son?"

"My son!" Stacey squeals back to him. "You know what Houston? This isn't going to work! You think you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, and that's not how this is going to play, not if I have anything to say about it."

"What are you saying? What's gotten into you?"

"I want full custody of Drake," she spits back to him. "That way I can tell you when you can and can't see my son. That's what Drake needs right now, stability and that is the very last thing you are," she continues to yell at him, as a stunned Houston looks on in confusion.

"Full custody? Come on Stacey, we have done so well sharing custody of Drake so far," Houston pleads with her.

"Get out of my house," Stacey lashes out at him. "And don't call me, call my lawyer going forward."

***

"Kent, please open up," Lydia knocks furiously on the front door of the penthouse that she shared with him for many years. She is desperate to see her former fiancé as she needs his assistance.

"Lydia, calm down," Kent says back to her as he opens the door and she quickly moves inside the penthouse. "What is going on? It seems like you are running from a fire."

"I am," she looks back at him with intent. "Look, I know I don't ask much of you, but I really, really need your help with something."

Kent arches his eyebrow back to her. "What is it? What's going on?"

"What I am about to ask of you Kent, it will determine whether or not my family will get to carry out its legacy at Rockwell Mining or if that pathetic little bitch Carmen Santos will destroy everything we've worked towards," Lydia says back to him. "It's not life and death but it damn well maybe."

"Okay, okay," Kent tries to calm her down. "Let me get you a brandy and we can sit and you can tell me the entire story, Lydia."

"Hey Stace," Cole moves into the living room of the Rockwell mansion and sees his sister hanging up her cell phone. "I just got back from seeing Madi. She's doing well, all things considering."

Stacey moves up to him and pulls him into a hug. "I'm sorry that I haven't asked you about how she is doing," she tells her brother. "With everything else going on …"

"It's easy to lose sight of it, I get it," Cole replies to her. "No need to apologize. What was the phone call about?"

"Ugh," Stacey groans, thinking about how she just got off the phone with her lawyer so she can sue for full custody of Drake. "You don't want to know. Just more drama with Houston."

"Want a drink? I know I could use one," Cole asks as he moves over to the bar.

"I thought you'd never ask," Stacey says back to him.

"Is there enough for a third?" Lucinda asks her grandson as she walks into the living room.

"Of course," Cole smiles back to her. "Has there been any update on Lex? Do we know why he missed the announcement this morning?"

"That is the exact reason why I am here," Lucinda admits to them. "I was hoping he would have reached out to one of you?"

Cole passes Stacey and Lucinda their brandy's before he grabs his own. "I haven't heard a peep from him," Cole admits. "I texted him but I haven't heard back."

"Neither have I," Stacey shrugs her shoulders.

"Well, I was just with Lydia and she hasn't heard from Lexington either," Lucinda reveals to them. "This is starting to become alarming. Where would he have gone when he knew that he was about to be named the CEO of Rockwell Mining?"

"Good question," Stacey uneasily looks back at her grandmother. "Where did Lex go?"

CABO AZUL, SAN JOSE DEL CABO

"What the hell are we doing here?" Lex asks Mateo as he opens the door to the penthouse suite at the lavish resort and Mateo ushers him inside. Mateo looks around and is in awe of how luxurious the suite is; he quickly recalls how once Carmen knew that Lydia was going to make an announcement about the CEO position at Rockwell Mining, she called him and told him to get Lex out of Kelsey Lake. Since she still had paid for the suite for another week, she suggested that she bring him here, so Mateo told Lex that he planned a surprise for him. Lex didn't want to go, but Mateo promised that he would be back to claim his CEO spot before he knew it. Now, Mateo just must keep Lex in Mexico long enough for Carmen to stop the CEO position from changing hands.

"I thought a getaway would do us both good," Mateo closes the door to suite and moves up to Lex. "Don't you think that we deserve this, Lex?"

"I'm not saying that we don't," Lex replies to him quickly. "But, my mother was planning on naming me the CEO of Rockwell Mining soon. I have to get back…"

"Sshhh," Mateo puts a finger over Lex's lips. "Don't you worry. We will get back in time for the announcement. There is a lot of legal steps that must happen before you can take over. It doesn't happen overnight. We have a few days here and be back before you know it."

Lex sighs heavily back to him. "Okay, fine, you win. We'll stay for a couple of days and then head back."

"Perfect," Mateo smiles back to him. "Now, my only other ask is that we really disconnect so we can reconnect together here."

"What do you mean by that?"

Mateo moves over to the desk and opens the bottom drawer where the room safe is. "Cell phone and IPad in here please, let's not get distracted by anything or anyone," Mateo tells him as he puts his own devices in the safe. "Come on."

Lex shakes his head back to him as he slowly moves over and puts his phone and IPad in the safe. "Perfect," Mateo says as he shuts the door. "Now, we can focus on us. I am so excited to have this time for us, Lex. We both need it."

Lex feels uneasy about everything but before he can voice his opinion, Mateo's lips are on his and soon their bodies are falling on to the large king size bed.

The next morning, Celeste holds the front door of the cabin open while Mac carries out the last of their bags. He places the bag in the backseat of the car and then looks back at Celeste, who is locking the door.

"I think that's everything," he tells her as he closes the door. "We can start our road trip!"

Celeste moves up to him and kisses him on the lips. "This is an exciting adventure, hey?"

"It will certainly be that," Mac smiles back to her. "We will really get to test our relationship, I think."

"We can take turns driving if you want," Celeste replies to him quickly. "But any stops, let me go into the stores and do the paying okay? I want to handle that."

Mac arches his eyebrow back to her. "That's really not necessary but I won't protest you on that."

"Good," Celeste kisses him again. "Because, I'd win the war anyways."

He chuckles to her as she moves to the car door. "You can drive first?" she asks as she opens the passenger side door and hopes in. Once inside the car, she takes a deep breath. She is glad that conversation went well because the last thing she needed was Mac insisting on paying for something in a store on the road and having anyone recognize him; she must ensure she keeps his identity hidden; it is the only way she can ensure that she can keep him.

Mac hops into the car and turns the key. "And, we're off," he looks over and smiles at his lover.

"Yay, let's go!"

"Mr. Rockwell," a young female secretary calls out behind her desk as Cole stands up from his uncomfortable chair in the waiting room. "Mr. Ross will see you now."

Cole nods back to her before he walks over to an office and knocks on the door before he opens it. He immediately sees Casper Ross sitting behind his desk.

"Mr. Rockwell," Casper stands up from his chair and extends his hand to shake Cole's. "Please come in."

"Thank you," Cole closes the door before he shakes Casper's hand and then sits across from him. "Thank you for meeting with me this morning."

Casper looks back at Cole and immediately feels an attraction to him. He has heard that Cole is straight but he can't help but think that the oldest Rockwell sibling is a very attractive man.

"Of course," Casper licks his lips back to him. "When a member of the Rockwell family asks to see me, I always make time in my schedule. May I ask what brings you to my private investigator firm?"

Cole nods back to him. "Marat Kafelinkov recommended you to me. Everything that we discuss, stays between us, is that correct?"

"Yes, client confidentiality is very important to me."

"Did you hear about Celeste Baldwin's murder?" Cole asks next as Casper nods back to him. "Well, she's alive and well. And, if we find her, we can set Madison Stewart free from jail."

"Whoa," Casper says back to him. "So, an innocent woman is in jail for a crime that never actually happened?"

"Exactly."

"Why are you involved in this?" Casper asks him.

"Because I'm in love with Madi," Cole reveals to him as Casper nods back to him, getting confirmation that Cole is straight. "I need to do this to ensure we can have our future together. I will do whatever it takes to get her out of jail."

"You've come to the right place," Casper smiles back to him. "I'll help you track down Celeste, but first you have to tell me every last detail that you know about Celeste and her so called death."

***

"So, you haven't heard from Lexington at all?" Stacey asks Kent as she moves into his penthouse. After hearing from Lucinda that no one has heard from her brother, Stacey decided to visit Kent to see if he has heard from Lex at all; it is not like Lex to just disappear without any word, especially knowing that he was about to be named CEO of Rockwell Mining.

"I'm afraid not," Kent replies to her quickly. "I am sure he will turn up. He turned down a job offer to run Blackmore Ltd. again indicating that Rockwell Mining would need his support."

"Really?" Stacey looks back at him in surprise. "I hadn't heard that."

"I usually don't go around telling people when I've been rejected," Kent chuckles back to her. "How are you doing though, Stacey? I am assuming that you heard that Sabine left town and went to New York?"

"I heard," Stacey nods back to him. "She told the family and said her goodbye's. I can't say that I am upset, however."

"Nor am I," Kent tells her. "The distance from her will be good."

"If only Houston would follow suit," she says back to him. "He is getting on my every last nerve."

"Why, what has happened now?"

"Ugh, you don't want to know," Stacey waves her hand in the air. "Needless to say, I want him out of my life and I am filing for full custody of Drake. I don't need him showing up unannounced anymore. I can't handle it."

"Well, this is a development I hadn't heard yet," Kent admits to her. "When did you decide to file for full custody?"

"Just this morning," she reveals to him. "He wasn't thrilled but I don't care what he thinks. This is my life dammit and it's time I take it back."

Kent chuckles back to her. "What?" she looks at him. "What is so funny?"

"It's just, I haven't seen this side of you in a very long time," he admits to her. "It's nice to see you fighting for you again, Stacey and not getting caught up in the drama of Houston."

"Thanks, I think?" she smiles back to him.

"I mean it," he moves up to her and pulls her into a hug. "I support you and if you need anything from me, anything at all, just know that I am here."

"We are making really good time," Celeste tells Mac as she turns a corner on the highway. They drove a few miles before Mac wanted to switch out, so Celeste is now driving. "Maybe the next gas station we see, I'll pull in and we can grab some snacks?"

"Yea, sure," Mac says as he rolls up is window as he felt like he had enough fresh air for a while. "It is a beautiful day to be on the road, huh?"

"I'm grateful for that," Celeste admits to him. "I hate driving in bad weather or when it's dark. I always have."

Mac chuckles back to her for a moment. "I guess that means I'm on night duty?"

"Only until we stop for the night," she looks over at him. "I still need my time alone with you in bed, you know."

"I like the sound of that," he winks to her.

Suddenly, Mac has another flash. He can see a young man standing in a lavish room, the same young man that he has been seeing in his previous memory flashes and he is talking about how he crashed his expensive car into a young woman's car. Mac can hear him say "No one was hurt Dad, just my car.".

"Mac?" Celeste calls out for the third time in a row. "What is it? What's wrong?"

"N…nothing," Mac stutters as he snaps back into reality.

"No, don't tell me it's nothing," Celeste firmly says back to him, realizing that he must be having another memory flash. "I can tell that something is going on with you. Now, tell me damnit!"

"Fine," Mac replies to her quickly. "I think…I think my memory is slowly coming back. I keep having these flashes."

"Flashes?" Celeste gasps back to him as she tries to keep her eyes on the road. "What kind of flashes?"

"I wish I could explain it better," Mac admits to her. "It's just these random pieces of what I think were my life before."

"I see," Celeste uneasily says back to him. "But, nothing concrete has come back to you?"

"No, not yet," Mac says. "But, I guess it's only a matter of time before I remember everything?"

Celeste forces a smile on her face. "I guess so?" she manages to say, even though she realizes that she must do something, anything to stop Mac from getting his memory back. But what? She asks herself as she continues to focus on the road in front of her.

"Something has certainly put a smile on your face today," Janice Young notes to Madi as she walks up to her younger friend, who is sitting in the cafeteria in the state prison. Janice wonders why Madi is so happy today since they are still locked up together.

"I saw my boyfriend," Madi admits to her, thinking about Cole's visit when he told her that he had a lead on how to get her out of jail. She, for the first time in a very long time, feels like she has hope that she will be able to get out of jail. "And, he just made me happy."

"Your boyfriend is Cole Rockwell right?" Janice asks her quickly.

"You remembered?" Madi smiles back to her. "But, yes, he is my boyfriend."

Janice shakes her head back to him. "You're mixing it up with the rich and powerful of Kelsey Lake," she says back to Madi. "Those folks, I don't know, I think they're all trouble."

"Why would you say that?" Madi asks her back quickly.

Janice looks at her before she takes a bit of her sausage. "The rich of Kelsey Lake think they are above the law and that there are no consequences for their actions but dammit, that's not how it should work."

"You act like you know something about the Rockwell's, Janice? What do you know about Cole's family?"

"Let's just say I know a lot of secrets about may of the powerful in that town," Janice winks back to her. "Secrets that no one wants me to know."

"Marat, I'm glad you agreed to meet me today," Dyhannah purses her lips as she looks across the table in the country club at the Russian man whom she finds very attractive.

Marat chuckles back to her quickly. "Well, I have been extremely curious about this offer that you keep mentioning," he replies to her quickly. "I am hoping that you have more details for me."

"I certainly do," Dyhannah pulls out an envelope from her purse and passes it over to Marat. "As you know, I have taken on an executive role at Blackmore Ltd, and right now with Mac Rockwell's death causing chaos at Rockwell Mining, it would be the perfect time for Blackmore to strike and announcement something major and exciting."

"I'm listening," Marat takes the documents and stops opening them as he listens to Dyhannah. "What did you have in mind?"

"All the details are listed in that contract," she tells him immediately. "But, the short version is, I want to team up with the Kremlin Diamond company to launch a new glamorous line of tennis of bracelets. I know what you're thinking, tennis bracelets? But, we don't need to reinvent the wheel with the product, we need to elevate the design with the highest end diamonds. The Kremlin, in my opinion, has the best diamonds in the world and that is all that I am looking for."

"Interesting idea," Marat licks his lips back to her. "You know that I have a history with both Blackmore Ltd. and Rockwell Mining right?"
"Water under the bridge," Dyhannah waves her had in the air. "Kent has left me in charge of this and if this is my decision, he will damn will support it, especially because this is an amazing idea. So, what do you say Mr. Kafeklinov? Are you in? Can I count on you to satisfy me?"

"You certainly can," Marat chuckles back to her. "This sounds like an opportunity I can't pass up."

***

Kent opens the door to the main office at Blackmore Ltd and quickly moves inside. He hasn't been to the office in sometime, but he knows that he has a very critical meeting that he is about to have; he wanted to have it in his office because it makes him feel more powerful that way. He sits behind his desk and waits for his guest to arrive. He takes a deep breath knowing what he must do.

Right on schedule, there is a knock on his door. "Come in," he calls out as the door opens and Kent sees a skinny, older gentlemen walk into his office. The man is wearing a brown suite and has thin hair; Kent can immediately tell that the last few years of his life haven't been easy, which makes sense since Kent heard about his divorce.

"Lloyd Hecker, it has been far too long," Kent stands up and shakes his hand.

Lloyd nervously looks back at Kent, already intimidated by the powerful man. "It has indeed. I was rather surprised to hear from you Mr. Blackmore, what is this regarding?"

Kent chuckles back to him. "A man who cuts to the chase, I like that."

"I have clients to see," Lloyd tells him. "Unless you were going to hire me?"

"No, no," Kent waves his hand back to him. "I don't need legal representation and if I did, I certainly wouldn't call you."

"Then, again, what is this about?"

"I'm going to make this fast," Kent sits up in his chair and glares over at Lloyd. "I know what you've been up too since your divorce from Denise," Kent explains to him as Lloyd feels his face flush.

"What…what do you mean?"

"The underaged girls, Lloyd? Surely you didn't think that no one would ever find out, did you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," Lloyd nervously replies to him as he stands up and prepares to leave.

"Don't worry Lloyd," Kent stands up and moves around to face Lloyd. "I'm not here to cause you any trouble."

"Really? Then what do you want?"

"I'm willing to keep this little perversion of yours a secret," Kent whispers to him. "But, you need to do something for me, is that understood?"

Lloyd finds himself nodding back to Kent. "Perfect, now this is what I need you to do," Kent gets a wicked smile on his face.

A short time later, Carmen is in the main office at Rockwell Mining pouring herself a drink when she hears a knock on the door. She turns and sees Lloyd moving into her office.

"Mr. Heckler, thank goodness you're here," she breathes a sigh of relief as she moves up to him and air kisses both of his cheeks. "I was just pouring a drink, can I get you one?"

"Sure, that would be nice," Lloyd nervously replies to her as he takes a seat on the sofa in the office. "I happened to review the document that you had forwarded to my office."

"You did? Perfect," Carmen purses her lips together as she sits next to him and passes him a brandy. "So, please tell me that the amendment to my husband's will was forged? Please tell me that it's not real."

"I am sorry, my dear, but that is not the case."

"What are you saying?" Carmen asks him back in shock.

"The amendment is legitimate. The handwriting sample matches Mac's perfectly, and it was notarized by his attorney. There is nothing suspicious about the document."

"That's impossible!" Carmen huffs as she stands up and sets her brandy down. "I was positive that Lydia and the Rockwell's forged the document to get me out of the CEO position!"

"I don't know what you were expecting Mrs. Rockwell," Lloyd stands up and looks at her. "But, like I said, the amendment is legitimate. Your husband changed his will without your knowledge."

Lucinda swiftly moves into the country club and wonders if she should have a drink at the bar or if she should grab a table as she would love to get a drink to assess what her next move should be. She is desperate to locate Lex so he can take over as CEO of Rockwell Mining and they can finally get Carmen out of the company.

"That's what I need to focus on," she whispers to herself. "I have to figure out where you are Lexington. We need you know more than ever before."

She freezes when she sees someone at the bar and immediately arches her eyebrow as she looks at the man sitting alone. She quickly racks her brain trying to think about where she knows him and suddenly it dawns on her.

"Noel Baker," she whispers to herself. "Lydia's personal trainer and former lover. What the hell is that man doing back in town? I thought we had seen the last of him after Lydia dumped him? What is going on here?"

***

"That is quite the story," Casper nods back to Cole as they sit in his office and Cole just finished explaining to him everything that Lydia and Lucinda revealed to him about Celeste being alive and then disappearing. "You and your family certainly lead an interesting life."

Cole chuckles back to him. "That's putting it mildly," Cole says back to him. "Anyways, neither my mother nor my grandmother have seen Celeste since then. Do you think you can try to track her down?"

"Of course," Casper replies to him quickly. "I will do whatever I can. What I need from you is a list of places that you think Celeste may have gone. I'll start there and then maybe I can branch out from there.

"Sure, I can think about anything that she might have mentioned and let you know."

"Perfect, I appreciate it handsome."

Cole looks back at Casper in surprise. "What did you just say?"

"I called you handsome," Casper confidently replies to him. "Surely it's not the first time you've that, Cole."

"No, it's not," Cole waves his hand back to him. "But, just so we are on the same page Casper, I am straight. I am in love with Madison."

"I know, you mentioned," Casper winks back to him. "Just take it as a compliment, okay?"

"Okay, you wait here," Celeste says through the open car window as they are stopped at a gas station. "I'm going to run in, pay for this gas and grab some food. Anything in particular you'd like?"

Mac looks back over at her. "Water for sure and anything else, I'm pretty flexible."

"Sounds, be right back," Celeste smiles to him.

She turns and walks towards the entrance, looking over her shoulders to ensure no one else is around her. As soon as she gets inside the building, she looks around to see what the store all has. Her eyes freeze on what appears to be a small pharmacy area. She quickly walks over to that aisle and starts looking at the various medications that the store has.

"Advil," she whispers to herself. "Tylenol. Damn it," she says. "I need something that will prolong his memory from returning."

She pauses when she sees Celexa, having never heard of the drug before. "Used to treat depression, increases energy level, side effects may include short term memory loss."

She clutches the bottle in her hand and smiles to herself. "This is exactly what I need to ensure I keep you, Mac."

CABO AZUL; SAN JOSE DEL CABO

Lex slowly walks towards the large infinity pool on the lavish grounds of the resort and soon finds a lounger that he spreads a towel out on. He lays on the towel and then takes a sip of his margarita. He looks back at the room, which is the on the top floor of the resort but doesn't see Mateo from the ground level. He knows that Mateo was just going to clean up and then come and join him by the pool.

"I hope I'm doing the right thing," he whispers to himself as he lays in the hot sun. "I do feel like I need to relax but I can't help but wonder when Mom was going to make the announcement about the CEO position. Maybe I should just call her."

He goes to reach for his phone but quickly realizes that he left in the safe in the room because Mateo didn't want there to be any distractions while they were on the trip.

"I have to tell him that I need to let my family know that I'm okay," he tells himself. "As soon as he gets here I'll let him know."

"I don't believe this," a voice calls out from behind Lex, who sits up in his chair. "Lex, what are you doing here?'

"Grant?" a stunned Lex asks his ex-lover, Grant Shaw, whose toned chest is moving towards him, his short black trunks leaving little to the imagination. "I could ask you the same thing? What are you doing here?"

"After I got back to New York, I realized I hadn't had any down time, so I came here. How about you?"

"Yea pretty much the same," Lex nods to him. "I'm here with Mateo."

"Ah, so you and Mateo did get together after all. I wondered after I left down if that would happen."

"We didn't plan it, it just sort of happened," Lex insists back to him. "Anyways, it is nice to see you Grant. I hope we can move past what happened and just be friends?"

Grant licks his lips at the sight of Lex in his swim trunks. "Of course," Grant nods back to him. "I'd like nothing more than that."

Meanwhile, in the penthouse suite, Mateo is about to leave the room when he hears his cell phone ring from inside the safe. He rushes over to the safe, enters in the 4-digit code and retrieves his phone, seeing Carmen's number flash on the screen.

"Hermana, como estas?" he says with a sly grin on his face.

"Thank God you picked up," a panicked Carmen replies to him quickly as she paces around the Rockwell Mining office. "Did you get Lex to Cabo?"

"Yea, I'm here now. I'm just about to head down to the pool."

"Good," Carmen breathes a sigh of relief. "I need you to keep him there for as long as you, Mateo. It's critical that he stay away until I figure out a way to stay in control of Rockwell Mining."

"Okay," Mateo replies to her. "But, I don't know how long I can keep him from his phone or IPad. Eventually, he's going to want to connect with his family, Carmen."

"Our futures are at stake here, Mateo," she warns him. "If you want to lose out on this money, then you'll let him come home. Otherwise, keep him there until I tell you it's safe. Understood?"

"Yea, I get it," Mateo nods to himself in the room. "Don't worry about it, I'll take care Lexington. You just make sure you are doing your part."

Celeste moves back to the car with a bag of good and water from the gas station. As she approaches the car, she can't help but think back to how she opened a bottle of water and put two of the Celexa pills into it. She watched them dissolve before she put the lid back on and gave it a quick shake.

"There you are," Mac says as she opens the door and crawls back inside the car. "I was beginning to wonder if you got lost."

Celeste chuckles back to him. "Sorry, there was a line," she lies to him as she pulls out the laced water and passes it to him. "Water?"

"Thanks," he takes the bottle and opens it, immediately taking a large sip of it. "Ah, that was good. I was thirsty."

"Drink up," Celeste smiles at him as she watches him take another drink. "There's plenty more where that came from."
