KIMPTON SEATTLE VINTAGE HOTEL, SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

"Well, that was a waste of time," Cole Rockwell sighs as he and Casper Ross move back into the adjoining suite at the hotel in Seattle. They just got back from checking out the potential lead on locating Celeste Baldwin, however, it didn't pan out as the woman who was at the coffeeshop, actually owned the establishment. Cole can see how Casper's contact, however, thought that it could have Celeste as they have similar features, but it still was not Celeste and now he back at square one with trying to get Madison Stewart out of jail. "I wish we had found Celeste."

"I know," Casper closes the door behind himself. "But, it was the first lead. Like I said on the plane, it's not often that the first lead actually pans out. But, we can't give up hope."

"You're right, we can't give up hope," Cole nods back to him. "I just have a lot riding on finding Celeste, that's all. I just really want to find her so I can help Madi."

"And, I will help you do that," Casper looks into his eyes. "I see if any of my other contacts have any new leads, okay?"

"I'd appreciate that," Cole replies to him quickly. "I guess that means we can head home soon?"

"Yea, we should stay the night and head back tomorrow," Casper says to him. "We have the hotel room, might as well enjoy it, right?"

"What does that mean?" Cole quick asks him, thinking about how he saw Casper's bottom earlier in the day.

"You certainly didn't complain about the view earlier," Casper winks back at him. "Look, I'm not saying you're not straight, I'm saying, it would be just sex. No kissing, just you giving me what I need. It's up to you … we are here alone, I know I could use, and I can tell you could too."

Cole gulps back to him as Casper moves up to him and puts his hand on Cole's crotch. "See, I think you're interested," Casper licks his lips. "Let me take care of you."

Casper pushes Cole down on to the bed and starts to unzip his pants as Cole leans back and starts to enjoy Casper's mouth.

"What the hell is he talking about? He is claiming I'm Mac Rockwell, who is that?" Mac Rockwell asks Celeste Baldwin as they stand in a gas station as they are headed to San Antonio. Celeste had told Mac to wait in car for this very reason; she was scared that someone would realize who Mac truly is and now this man is claiming he knows who Mac really is.

"It doesn't matter," Celeste whispers back to him before she glares at the gas attendant, whose name tag reads Ralph. "This guy doesn't what the hell he's talking about. Now, we are leaving. We still have aways to go, so let's go."

"No," Ralph stops them from leaving. "I told you, this is Mac Rockwell; everyone thinks he's dead! If I turn up with him, I'll get a reward! This is my chance to get out of this hell hole!"

"Listen to me," Celeste moves closer to Ralph. "You have no idea what the hell you're talking about. Now, I've paid you for the gas and water, we are leaving here," she then turns to Mac and looks at him. "Come on, let's go."

"I said, you're not leaving," Ralph announces as he pulls out a shot gun from under his counter as Mac and Celeste gasp in shock. "I'm not letting you two leave here, end of story."

MARINA, CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO

Cabo San Lucas is about a 30-minute drive from San Jose del Cabo. San Lucas is the larger of the two towns and here is where the marina is located. The marina is one of the main tourist spots as this is where many of the excursions depart from. The location is usually hoping with many tourists and locals that are trying to sell their merchandise.

Mateo Santos emerges from a back alley pushing a large laundry cart that he stole from the Cabo Azul resort. He pushes it towards the marina as he looks out and sees the catamaran that he rented for a few days. He is desperate to get to the boat, so they can escape for a few more days and help Carmen retain the CEO position of Rockwell Mining.. He lifts the sheet over to the top of the cart and he can see Lex Rockwell's unconscious body in the cart. He recalls how he knocked his lover out after he was desperate to look at his phone; he knows that he had to prevent Lex from seeing his phone because he is trying to help keep Carmen Santos, his sister, as the CEO of the company. Once he gets Lex on the boat, he knows he can keep him on the water for a few days which will help give Carmen time to figure out how to keep her job.

He reaches the boat and looks around to ensure no one is around. When the coast is clear, he lifts Lex's body out of the cart and carries him on to the boat. He opens the door to the washroom and puts Lex inside. He uses a pair of handcuffs and cuffs Lex's hand to the small towel rack. He closes the door and looks around making sure no one saw him.

"Okay, time to get out of here," he says as he moves to the back of the boat and he starts untying it from the pier.

***

Meanwhile, Grant Shaw sits at the bar at the Cabo Azul resort and wonders what Mateo is up too. He recalls how he overheard Mateo talking on his phone about renting a boat for a few days. He also knows that Lex hasn't been allowed to use his phone while he has been in Cabo either. He can't shake this feeling that something very wrong is going on with this situation, he just doesn't know what it is.

"I have to figure this out," he whispers to himself as he sets his margarita class down and stands up. He quickly leaves the bar and starts to head towards Lex and Mateo's room. "Lex could be in danger? Is that crazy to think about?"

He hits the elevator button and hops on as soon as the doors open. He races down the hallway and peers into the hotel room, which door is open since housekeeping is inside. He moves inside.

"Hola," he says to the maid. "Are the guys staying here around?"

"No," she shakes her head. "One of them said they were going to San Lucas."

Grant feels the blood drain from his face. "Gracias," he says as he backs out of the room. He leans up against the wall of the hotel. "I think Mateo is going to take Lex on the boat he rented. He wants to keep Lex from learning about Rockwell Mining. I have to get to Lex before it's too late."

Stacey picks up her mimosa as she sits in the country club and takes a long drink of it. She can't stop thinking about what a mess her life is right now; ever since she discovered that Houston Blackmore was sleeping with Sabine Andrews, she has been pushing him away to the point of her filing for full custody of their son Drake. The last thing she expected, however, was to seemingly bond with Kent Blackmore, Houston's father, as a result of the affair since he was with Sabine at the time of the affair. They feel like they are seemingly the ones who understand what the other is going through; she shuts her eyes for a moment and can't help but think back to seeing Kent's large biceps and chest the previous day when she visited him.

"Morning," a voice calls out at her table causing Stacey to open her eyes and see Houston standing there. "I was hoping we could talk?"

"Talk about what, Houston?" Stacey huffs at him. "How sorry you are? How you want to make this up to me? I'm tired of going around in circles with you."

"Actually, none of that," Houston admits to her as he sits across from her. "If you want us to be over, then fine I can accept that. I will start to move on Stacey. I won't keep pressuring you."

"Thank you," she replies to him. "Because that's exactly what I want."

"Okay, so since I'm giving in, I was hoping that you could do the same."

"What do you mean? Giving in on what, Houston?"

"The custody case," Houston looks back at her with his big brown eyes. "I was hoping you'd let that go."

"You're unbelievable Houston Blackmore!" Stacey hisses at him. "How dare you come here and pretend to give up on me and us, only so I would drop the case! You have a lot of nerve."

"That's not what…"

"Oh, shut up," Stacey stands up from her chair. "You're as transparent as they come. I'm not dropping the case, Houston, because unlike you, I give a damn about my son's future."

Houston sighs heavily as he watches Stacey storm away from the table. He wonders if he will ever be able to get through to her again.

"Morning," Madison Stewart says as she approaches Janice Young, who is holding a shovel as she is digging around in the prison garden. Every day, they have the options to work around the yard to keep themselves busy. Madi, however, is key to find out what secrets Janice may or may not know about Blackmore Ltd since she has been eluding to it the last few times they have been together. "How are you today?"

"Doin' good," Janice looks up from her hole that she is going to put some flowers in. "How are you today, Madison?"

"Not bad," Madi nods back to her. "Those are pretty petunia's that you're planting."

"Just trying to spruce this place up," Janice chuckles to her quickly. "Since we gotta be here so long, might as well make it look good, right?"

"Yea, that's fair. Listen, I haven't been able to stop thinking about these secrets that you have mentioned a few times. Can you tell me what it is you think you know about Blackmore Ltd?"

Janice uneasily looks back at her. "If I told ya, I'd have to kill ya," Janice winks back to her. "Serious Madi, some things are better left alone. So, I suggest you drop it."

Madi uneasily nods back to her. "Sure," she bites her tongue, still wanting to know exactly what Janice knows about the Blackmore's. Now, she just has to think of a way to get Janice to confide in her.

"Stacey, hi," Kent Blackmore opens the door to the penthouse and sees her standing on the other side of the door. "Come on in."

"Thanks," Stacey moves into the penthouse and throws her purse on the sofa. "I don't know why I came here, to be honest. I just saw Houston and I ended up here."

"Is he still trying to get back together with you?"

"Well today he claimed that he didn't want to get back together," Stacey informs him. "But, he used that as a way to try to get me to drop the custody case."

"Ah, he gives in so he wants you to give in?" Kent asks her quickly. "That seems like a Houston move."

"I'm just so frustrated with him," Stacey admits to him. "I'm sorry to unload this on you, Kent. It's just, I feel like you're the only one who truly understands what I'm going through."

Kent moves closer to her and puts his hand on her cheek. "You know that I'm here for you, Stacey. I meant that when I said that to you. We are the ones who were betrayed by the people we love. We are the only ones who truly know what the other is going through."

Stacey looks back into Kent's eyes and then looks at his hand on her cheek. He slowly draws her closer to him before their lips are touching. "Kent," she whispers as their lips part briefly. "Make love to me, please. I need you so badly."

"God," Kent kisses her again. "I was hoping you'd say that."

***

"Today is the day," Carmen Rockwell says as she looks in the mirror in the master bedroom of the Rockwell mansion and finishes applying her lipstick. Behind her, Noel Baker, finishes buttoning up his shirt as he spent the night with his lover. He smiles at her words as he knows that they have come up with a plan to ensure Carmen gets money from the Rockwell's since it is evitable that she will get the boot from the CEO position of Rockwell Mining. "We are going to present our offer to the Rockwell's to buy the company from me."

"Did you hear from Mateo about Lex?" Noel asks her as he finishes getting dressed. "That is the final piece to this puzzle, if we can ensure we have confirmation that Lex isn't coming home anytime soon."

"Mateo sent me a picture of him and Lex having a great time," Carmen replies to him. "I just have to convince them that Lex isn't coming back anytime soon."

"This is perfect," Noel tells her as he comes up behind her and puts his arms around her. "We are going to get everything we have wanted, Carmen."

"Yes, thanks to you," she spins around in his arms and kisses him on the lips, unaware that the bedroom door is slowly opening.

Lucinda Rockwell peers through the opening and sees Carmen and Noel kissing. She had been walking towards the front door when she heard voices coming from inside the master bedroom; she was curious to know who Carmen was with as she should have been alone in the master bedroom.

She moves away from the door and arches her eyebrow. "What the devil is going on?" she whispers to herself, startled to see Carmen and Noel in a passionate kiss.

***

At short time later, Lucinda opens the front door to the main office of Rockwell Mining and sees Lydia Rockwell and Stacey waiting inside for her. She looks over at Stacey, who is looking out the large window, clearly deep in thought.

"I'm glad I caught you two before the meeting with Carmen," Lucinda announces to her family. "You won't believe what just happened."

Stacey turns around snapping back into reality. She can't believe that she just came from Kent's house where they had intense, passionate sex. Still, while it was amazing on one hand, but she can't believe that she crossed that line with him considering their history.

"What happened?" Lydia asks her as she pours herself a gin and soda. "And Stacey, are you okay? You're quiet over there."

"I'm fine," Stacey manages to say, still thinking about Kent.

Before Lucinda can respond, the door to the office opens and Carmen appears. She moves inside and looks at the three Rockwell women. "Good, you're all here," she announces to the family. "I have a proposition for you, and I think it is something you won't be able to refuse."

"What are you even talking about?" Lydia snaps at her. "What kind of proposition."

"I heard from Mateo this morning," Carmen reveals to them. "It doesn't seem like Lexington will be coming home anytime soon as they are enjoying some beach time together, here look at this picture."

She holds up her phone, so her family can see the picture of Lex and Mateo pool side in Cabo. "Where was that picture taken?" Lucinda demands to know.

"Mateo didn't specify just that they are having the time of their lives," Carmen replies to her. "But, look, I'm willing to make you a deal. I'll leave the CEO position if…"

"If? If what?" Lydia shrieks back at her.

"You buy me out," Carmen purses her lips together.

"Of course," Lucinda rolls her eyes. "I always knew you were a gold digging little…"

"How much?" Stacey cuts her grandmother off. "How much do you want?"

"500 million dollars," Carmen stuns the family by revealing. "Get me that in cash, and I'll walk away from Rockwell Mining forever."

***

"That woman has some nerve," Lydia paces back and forth in the main office of Rockwell Mining while Lucinda pours herself a drink at the bar. Carmen just left after she revealed how much money she wanted to leave the CEO position of the company and Lydia is rattled to her very core. "500 million dollars? She is trying to bankrupt us!"

"You and I have known this about her since Mac married her," Lucinda takes a sip of the brandy she just poured. "I am not surprised one bit by this."

"Poor Stacey needed to get some air, I think she was just as rattled as we are."

"How the hell are we going to liquidate that kind of money in such a short time?" Lucinda asks her quickly. "I'm willing to pay the slut off but getting that much cash might take a few days."

"We don't have a few days!" Lydia shrieks back to her.

"I know," Lucinda waves her hand. "Oh, I almost forgot. You'll never believe who Carmen is sleeping with now."

Lydia looks back at her in shock. "She's already moved on from Mac? My God, this just keeps getting better and better!"

"You need to brace yourself," Lucinda warns her.

"You're scaring me Lucinda," Lydia admits to her. "Who is Carmen sleeping with?"

"Noel Baker," Lucinda stuns Lydia by he revelation. "Your former physical therapist is sleeping with Carmen."

***

A short time later, Lydia walks into the country club desperate for a drink. She has had one hell of a morning already considering Carmen's demands and Lucinda's revelation. She moves to the bar when she sees Stacey sitting there alone with a scotch in front of her. Lydia can only imagine that Stacey is also having a rough morning if she is already having a scotch.

"Darling, do you mind if I join you for a drink? I could also use one," Lydia says as she sits next to her daughter. "It's been one hell of a morning."

"Yes, it has," Stacey looks back at her. "I can't believe it, almost."

"I know," Lydia takes a sip of her brandy. "Carmen's demands are outrageous!"

"It's not that Mom," Stacey looks at her with intent. "I did something and I'm not sure how I or any one else will feel about it."

"What did you do? Do you want to talk about it?"

"I…I mean…I slept with Kent Blackmore," Stacey blurts out quickly to her as Lydia looks back at her in shock as she starts to cough on the liquid in her mouth. "I know, I'm sorry. I don't know how or why it happened but it did and here we are."

"I… I don't know what to say," Lydia admits to her. "I can't believe that you and Kent…my God."

Stacey takes another long drink of her scotch, not sure of what else to say back to her mother about what she did.

"I'm going to need a double," Lydia looks at the bartender as she finishes the brandy in front of her.

KIMPTON VINTAGE SEATTLE HOTEL, SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

"You rushed out of here so quickly, I didn't even get to tell you that what we did was amazing," Casper looks over his shoulder at the adjoining door to the hotel room he is sharing with Cole. He almost can't believe that he and Cole had sex considering all the hesitation that was coming from Cole before; still, Cole really gave it to him good like he had been pent up for a while.

"I think we should head home," Cole ignores Casper's words to him. "There's nothing left here considering I didn't find Celeste."

"Yea, sure," Casper nods back to him. "I can call the airlines and book us on the next flight. Then, once we get home, I'll look into any other leads."

"I don't think that's a good idea," Cole replies to him immediately. "I think this working relationship needs to end."

"You're firing me?" Casper gasps back to him. "Why? Because one lead didn't pan out or because you just had my ass and now you can't stop thinking about it?"

"ENOUGH!" Cole yells at him, frustrated with Casper's non-stop sexual talk with him. "I've made my decision, accept it Casper."

"Ralph, come on," Celeste tries to tell the gas attendant, who is holding his shot gun at her and Mac while they still stand in the gas station. "There's no need to point that gun at us. You don't want to hurt us."

"You're right," Ralph chuckles back to her. "I'm not going to hurt you, unless you give me reason too. I am using this gun to ensure that I can keep you here until I can collect my pay day."

Mac pulls Celeste away from the counter and looks her in the eyes. "You need to start telling me what the hell is going on here," Mac demands from her as Celeste gets tears in her eyes. "Who is Mac Rockwell and why does this loony bin think I'm him?"

"I…I can explain," Celeste's voice cracks as she tries to prevent herself from crying. "I promise you, I can explain."

"Then start talking," Mac grits his teeth back at her.

***

"Kent, open this damn door!" Lydia bangs on the front door of the penthouse where she used to live. She knows that she must get answers about the fact that Stacey just revealed to her that she and Kent just had sex.

"Whoa, what has gotten into you?" Kent asks as he opens the door and sees his former fiancé standing there. Lydia pushes her way past Kent and storms into the living room. "By all means, come in."

"You have some explaining to do!" she turns and shrieks at him. "I just saw Stacey, she told me everything!"

"Ah," Kent shakes his head back to her. "I can understand why you're upset with me, Lydia."

"You're damn right I'm upset! You just slept with my daughter, Kent! How could you?" Lydia asks him.

Kent shrugs back to her. "I wish I had a real explanation for you," he replies to her quickly. "The fact is, it just happened. I don't know, I can't explain it."

"Well you better try!"

"Lydia, please, calm down," Kent tells her. "Stacey and I have been talking for a few weeks now, mostly about how we felt about Sabine and Houston … we have been growing closer. Today, when she came over, I don't know, it really just happened. I know it upsets you considering everything we meant to each other, but sometimes in life nature takes over. A man and a woman."

"You disgust me!" Lydia yells back at him. "After all the years we spent together, the last thing I ever expected from you is to sleep with my daughter!"

"I could easily say the same thing about you and Houston," Kent reminds her.

"That was completely different and you know it!"

"All I'm saying is that things happen in life," he remains calm with her. "We just have to move on from this now."

***

Stacey moves into the living room of the Rockwell mansion but freezes when she sees Houston sitting on the carpet playing with Drake. She feels her heart sink

She still can't believe that she and Kent just had sex. She can only imagine how Houston will feel if he knew what happened between her and his father; probably similar to how she felt when she found out about him and Sabine.

"Oh Stacey," Houston turns around and sees the mother of his child standing in the living room looking a million miles away. "I didn't hear you come in. I hope you don't mind that I came to spend some time with Drake today. I really wanted to see him after our meeting earlier."

"Of course not," Stacey replies to him quickly. "I have probably been overreacting about you seeing Drake. You are his father, despite everything that has happened."

Houston stands up while Drake continues to play with his toys and looks at Stacey. "That's nice of you to say. Earlier today, I was sure that you seeing me here would have made your blood boil."

Stacey sighs back to him as she feels water swell in her eyes. "I'm sorry," she bites her lower lip to him. "I have been really hard on you and the fact of the matter is, we all make mistakes."

"You were hurt, I get it. I would have been devastated too if I knew that you were with someone else, especially someone that I was close too the way you were close to Sabine."

"I'm going to go for a walk," Stacey replies to him quickly. "I need to get some air."

"Okay, take your time. I'll stay here with Drake," Houston says back to her as Stacey rushes out of the room.

As soon as Stacey is in the foyer of the mansion, she leans up against the wall and puts her hand over her mouth as she fights the tears in her eyes, reeling from her actions with Kent.

Vivian Blackmore sits in the country club with a champagne cocktail in front of her. She decided that she is going to celebrate the fact that Chase Cooper is planning on asking her to marry him; after all these months, he is finally going to propose. She knows that their last hurdle is to convince Dyhannah Cooper to stop blackmailing them from being together.

"Another morning, another cocktail in front of you," Dyhannah smirks to her rival as she approaches her table. "If you're not careful, Viv, people will start to assume you have a drinking problem."

"I have only one problem in my life," Vivian replies to her quickly. "And, I'm looking at her. But you know what? I think I have realized that you're not a problem at all."

"Why do you say that? Have you forgotten that I am holding all the cards right now?"

"You think you are," Vivian smiles back to her. "But the fact of the matter is, Dy, you won't reveal anything to anyone about what you know about Kent and Chase, and I know that for a fact."

Dyhannah arches her eyebrow as she sits across from her. "How can you be sure about that?"

"Because," Vivian begins to explain to her. "If you reveal the truth, the job you are loving so much at Blackmore Ltd. will be taken away from you. You will be left with nothing. And, your precious Deacon will lose the campaign for the Senate seat, and you most certainly do not want that to happen. So, you see, Dyhannah, you need the truth to be kept a secret just as much as the rest of us. You're not going to tell a damn person about what you know, and that's a fact."

Dyhannah chuckles back to her. "You think you're clever."

"I know I'm right," Vivian leans forward and glares at her. "There's nothing you can do to stop Chase and I from being together, so you better used to it because Chase and I, we will be together for the rest of our lives."

***

"Chase, are you here?" Vivian calls out as she opens the front door to her mansion. She moves into the living room and sees Chase pouring himself a brandy at the bar. "We are going to open some champagne, we can celebrate!"

Chase turns around and faces Vivian. "What are we going to celebrate, exactly?"

"I just saw Dyhannah," Vivian moves up to him and gives him a kiss on his lips. "I told her why she will never reveal the truth about you and Kent."

"Oh?" Chase says in surprise. "And, what did my ex-wife say?"

"She had nothing to say," Vivian smiles back to him. "She knew that I was right; if she tells the truth, she will lose her job and Deacon will lose the election. We have her, Chase. She won't be a problem for us anymore!"

"That is music to my hears," Chase kisses her back. "Because, I have wanted to ask you something but I have been apprehensive."

"You don't have to be apprehensive anymore," Vivian replies to him.

Chase slowly bends down on one knee and pulls out a black box from his jacket pocket. He opens it and Vivian gasps at the large black diamond ring. "Marry me, Vivian? Make me the happiest man in the world?"

"I would love nothing more than to marry you," Vivian says as tears fill her eyes. "Yes, yes, yes, a million times over yes!"

***

Dyhannah paces back and forth in her suite in the country club, fuming about her encounter with Vivian a short time ago.

"That woman thinks she has won," Dyhannah says as she takes a sip of her brandy. "But, I will get the last laugh, I have too. I won't let that woman win!"

She pauses when she hears a knock on her door. She moves over to the door, opens it and sees Marat Kafelinkov standing on the other side. "I came over as soon as I got your message," Marat explains as Dyhannah allows him into her room. "You made it seem urgent. Is everything okay with our arrangement?"

"Everything is fine," Dyhannah replies to him. "Kent loved the idea and he was thrilled that you signed the contract."

"Wonderful," Marat smiles back to her. "Then, I have to ask, what was so important that you wanted to meet with me?"

"While you signed the contract," Dyhannah moves closer to him. "There was one clause that you didn't acknowledge."

Marat arches his eyebrow back to her. "Really? I must have overlooked it."

Dyhannah slowly removes her large housecoat, revealing a black lace bra and panty set underneath. Marat's eyes open wider in surprise. "This has been coming since we met at the bar that day, don't you agree?"

Marat moves up and kisses her passionately on the lips. "I definitely agree," he says as his lips move to her neck. "I will review this clause in great depth."

Dyhannah moans in delight as she puts her hand in Marat's hair to push him in deeper into her skin.

CABO SAN LUCAS

"Ugh," Lex groans as he slowly opens his eyes from the small washroom on board the catamaran, which is moving at a good clip over the wave of the Pacific Ocean. "What happened?"

His eyes open wider in shock when he realizes that he is handcuffed to the towel rack. "What is going on? Hello? Help me! I'm locked in here! Hello?"

The door opens, and Mateo looks inside to his lover. "You're awake, it's about time. I was, almost, beginning to get worried."

"Mateo, thank God," Lex looks back at him. "You have to help me. I am locked in here, what happened? Do you have the key?"

"I do," Mateo nods back to him. "You don't remember what happened?"

"No, my head hurts a lot. What happened?"

"I have to help Carmen continue to be the CEO of Rockwell Mining, Lex," Mateo explains to him as the boat goes over a large wave causing the vessel to rock. "I have to keep you here as long as possible for that to happen. But you, you insisted on using your phone and checking in with your family. I couldn't let you do that."

Lex looks back at him in horror. "You did this? Mateo, why? We had something special, didn't we? You don't have to do this?"

"We did have something special Lex," Mateo replies to him quickly. "Until your family wanted to take everything away from my sister. Blood always comes first."

"Carmen will still be taken care of," Lex reminds him. "She is Mac's widow, she's not going to be empty handed!"

"It's not enough!" Mateo yells back at him. "You all were born with silver spoons in your damn mouths, you have no idea what it is like to fight and hustle for everything! That's why I'm helping my sister. Together, we will get what we deserve!"

"Let me out of here!" Lex shouts back at him. "We can make this work, Mateo, but you have to let me go!"

"You're not going anywhere," Mateo grins back to him. "Not until I know Carmen has secured her fortune. Get comfy Lex, you're going to be there a while."

***

Meanwhile, at the marina, Grant looks around for a large catamaran but doesn't see one. He opens his bag and pulls out a pair of binoculars and looks out at the water. He can see a large catamaran in the near distance and realizes that it could be the boat that Mateo and Lex are on.

He rushes down on to the pier and sees some jet ski's for rent. He races up to the guy that is renting them. "Quanto questa?" Grant asks the guy.

"Treinta dolares," the man responds as Grant opens his bag again and pulls out thirty American dollars. "Gracias," the man tells him as he passes Grant a life jacket.

Grant quickly puts it on before he hops on the jet ski. He then starts it and races off, hoping to catch Mateo and Lex before it's too late.

"You seemed pretty intense about keeping those secrets earlier," Madison Stewart tells Janice Young as they sit in the cafeteria of the state prison about to have dinner together. Madi knows that Janice told her that she would "have to kill her" if she told Madi what she knows about Blackmore Ltd. Madi hasn't been able to stop thinking about what the secrets could be, since she and her family knows Kent and Houston.

"I am," Janice nods back to her. "Somethings are better left unsaid kid. Like I told you earlier, I will take what I know to the grave."

"But why?" Madi asks her quickly. "It's not like you owe the Blackmore's anything. Heck, you're in here, and for what? Did they send you here?"

"You and I have come close, right?" Janice asks her as Madi nods back to her. "Then you have to trust me. What I know, doesn't just impact the Blackmore's. It would impact you and your family, Madison."

"My family? What do you mean by that?"

"Your father," Janice reveals to her. "He and Kent have some dark secrets that they want to keep hidden."

Madi feels the blood drain from her face. "Okay, now you have to tell me, Janice. What did my father and Kent do? Please tell me!"

Janice looks over her shoulders to make sure no one else can hear her. "Okay, but you're not going to like Madi, not one little bit … but, I will tell you everything."

"I get that you're confused by everything," Casper tells Cole as they sit next to each other on the airplane as they head back to Kelsey Lake from their stint in Seattle. Casper knows that Cole is still reeling from the fact that they had sex in the hotel room, to the point where Cole fired Casper. Casper just wants Cole to realize that he is cool with what happened. "But you don't have to be. It happened, all is good."

"I kept telling you," Cole picks up his rye and ginger ale. "I am straight, Casper. I am trying to get my girlfriend out of jail for fucks sake!"

"I get it," Casper nods back to him. "I'm sorry I pressured you, okay? But, I'm not sorry about what happened between us. Now, when we land we can go our separate ways or…"

"Or what? What happened will never happen again! I am straight!" he says in a hushed whisper.

"I'm not saying you're not," Casper looks back at him. "I'm just saying that maybe you're bi or curious. You certainly seemed to enjoy…"

"Not another word," Cole cuts him off. "I'm putting in my headphones to listen to some podcasts. I don't want to talk about this anymore. Whatever happened in Seattle was a one-time thing and it will never happen again, got it?"

"Well, I'm waiting," Mac presses Celeste for answers about what is truly going on. "Start talking, Celeste."

"Okay, okay," Celeste whispers back to him. "What Ralph said, it is true. You are Mac Rockwell, the head of the very powerful Rockwell family and the CEO of Rockwell Mining. You and I, we were married for a short time, but it ended because I was in love with your son, Cole. But that was so long ago, Mac. What we have now, it is real and meaningful!"

"I was starting to remember you and Cole being together," Mac nods back to her. "That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why my memories started to fade. Did you do something to make sure I wouldn't remember, Celeste? Tell me!"

"I didn't mean too!" she cries back to him. "I swear, I just wanted to keep what we had going, Mac."

"What did you do?" Mac grits his teeth back to her.

Celeste slowly opens her purse and pulls out a bottle of pills. "I put this in your water. It's harmless, I swear."

"My God," he looks back to her. "You drugged me? What type of person are you?"

"I love you Mac!" she pleads with him. "And you love me!"

"I don't know what to think right now," he admits to her as he turns and looks at the cover of one of the magazines, which has Lydia and Carmen's pictures on the cover. The caption reads "the fight for Rockwell Mining".

"If this is true, I have to get back to my family," Mac looks at Celeste and then over at Ralph. "Listen, Ralph. I know you want your pay day and you'll get it, but you have to let me go so I can get home to my family. If you let me go, I swear to God I'll send you 5 million in cash. You know I have the resources."

Ralph looks back at him. "How do I know you're telling me the truth?"

"Because, I never go back on my word," Mac tells him. "You must know that about me based on what you've seen in the media?"

Ralph ends up nodding back to him. "Here's my contact information," he writes his phone number on a piece of paper. "Don't make me regret letting you go."

"You won't regret this," Mac smiles back to him as they shake hands. "You have my word."

Mac then turns and looks at Celeste. "Come on, we have to get home as soon as possible."

Celeste uneasily looks back at Mac and then rushes out of the gas station, wondering if she has lost Mac forever.

The next morning, Lydia moves into the country club hoping to have a drink and breakfast before she heads back to Rockwell Mining to face Carmen. She and Lucinda still have to figure out a way that they can liquidate the high demands from Carmen to ensure she gets out of the CEO position of Rockwell Mining.

As she moves to her table, she freezes when she sees Carmen and Noel sitting at a table together. Lydia realizes that they must be feeling okay about their power play if they now being seen in public together. She finds herself moving towards their table.

"I see the rumours are true," Lydia announces as she approaches their table. "Carmen, I guess you're having my sloppy seconds."

Noel chuckles back to her. "It's been a while, Lydia."

"Not long enough," Lydia snaps at him. "How could you get involved with this beast?"

"Beast?" Carmen snaps back at her. "How dare you!"

"How dare I? You're the one blackmailing us for 500 million dollars!"

"Blackmail is a very strong word," Noel cuts her off. "We like to think of it as a fair payment for leaving the CEO position of Rockwell Mining."

"So, you're in on this too?" Lydia shakes her head in disgust at her former lover. "Why doesn't that surprise me?"

"You have 24 hours left to get us the money," Carmen looks back at her in shock. "Otherwise, I'm not leaving the company and I will continue to rule the Rockwell empire."

CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO
The sun slowly creeps up over the Pacific Ocean as Grant's jet ski rocks back and forth over the waves. He was able to catch up to the catamaran the previous night but because of how late it had become he didn't see anything on the boat to know if Mateo or Lex were on board. He was able to tie his ski to the boat and manage to get some sleep on the back of the boat. He is now awake and happy that he can see the rest of the catamaran. He sits up quickly when he sees Mateo laying in the middle of the boat under a blanket.

Immediately, he starts looking around trying to find Lex but he doesn't see his former lover. Eventually, he hears some banging and realizes that Lex must be in the washroom down below. He creeps around the edge of the boat trying to not wake Mateo up. He finally reaches the washroom and opens the door, where he sees Lex still handcuffed inside. He puts his finger over his mouth to prevent Lex from talking.

"Mateo has the key," Lex whispers to him as Grant looks over at a sleeping Mateo.

Grant nods back to him as he moves closer to Mateo as the boat slowly rocks over the waves. Grant reaches Mateo's feet and slowly lifts the blanket up over him. He then slowly moves his hand to the pocket on Mateo's shorts and puts his hand inside carefully, causing Mateo to stir a little. Grant quickly pulls the key out and turns to pass it to Lex, who catches it and quickly unlocks himself.

"Thank God," Lex says as he crawls out of the bathroom and hugs Grant. "You saved me. We have to get out of here, how did you find me?"

"I have a jet ski, come on, let's go," Grant whispers back to him as they start to walk to the jet ski. When they get to the back of the boat, they see the jet ski floating away from the boat, as the rope tying it to the catamaran was cut. "What happened?"

"You didn't think it would be that easy, did you?" Mateo says as he points a gun at Lex and Grant. "You two aren't going anywhere."

Houston moves into the country club feeling more hopeful that he has in weeks with his relationship with Stacey since she was somewhat civil to him the previous afternoon. He just hopes that this is the start of them rebuilding their relationship.

Before he can move to his table, he looks at the bar and sees Kent sitting alone with a drink in front of himself. Houston, thinking that if Stacey is coming around, moves closer to his father, hoping that he can start to rebuild his relationship with Kent too.

"Hi Dad," Houston says as he arrives at the chair next to his father and sits down. "How's it going?"

"Houston," Kent takes a sip of his scotch. "I am in no mood to hear another one of your song and dances about how I should be forgiving you."

"Okay," Houston nods back to him. "I get it. I just wanted you to know that Stacey and I had a civil moment yesterday and I think we are close to mending our fences. I was just hoping…"

"You and Stacey?" Kent chuckles back to him. "Oh Houston, believe me, after yesterday, there will never be another version of you and Stacey again. Take my word on that."

"What does that mean? Do you know something I don't?"

"I just think Stacey is finally realizing there is a life after Houston Blackmore, and that is likely the best thing that's ever happened to her."

"Thank you for seeing me on such short notice," Stacey tells the nurse as she sits on a hospital bed. "I have been feeling so faint since late yesterday afternoon, it's not like me at all. I'm hoping the tests you ran can explain what is going on with me?"

"The doctor will be right in, please wait here."

Stacey sighs as the nurse leaves the room. She doesn't know what has come over her, but she really hopes that it is nothing.

"It's probably just a flu bug," she whispers to herself. "I have been under so much stress lately."

Before she can think anything else, the door opens and Dr. Jefferson emerges.

"Doctor, hi, did you get my test results back?"

"I did," Dr. Jefferson looks back at her quickly. "And, I have some news for you."

"What is it? Do I have a flu or cold?"

"It's very early," the doctor replies to her quickly. "But, it appears that you're pregnant Stacey."

Stacey feels the blood drain from her face realizing that the only man she has been with lately is Kent. "That's not possible, I can't be pregnant?"

"Like I said, it's very early, but that is what we found from your blood results. Congratulations Stacey, you're going to have another baby."

"Thank you for getting us this suite," Mac tells Celeste as they stand in a room above the country club. "The front desk clerk would have recognized me."

"It's no problem at all," Celeste replies to him. "It's the least I could have done all things considering that I put you through. I really am sorry."

"I suppose I can understand why you did what you did," Mac tells her. "But, I am back now and I have to help my family."

"Have you had any more memories?"

"Not yet, " Mac admits to her. "But, look at this, there is a meeting in a couple of hours at Rockwell Mining. I think that is my time to make my reappearance."

"Are you sure? I mean, you don't have your memory back?" Celeste questions him. "Maybe we should wait."

"No, the time for waiting is over. I need to do this."

"Okay," Celeste nods back to him. "I'll come with you. I'll just go shower and get ready, if that's okay?"

"Of course," Mac says back to her as Celeste scurries off into the bathroom.

She closes the door once she's inside and sets her large purse down onto the counter. She pulls out a home pregnancy test that she bought. She recalls how as soon as they got the room, she took the test and now, she's just using the shower as an excuse to see the results.

She gasps when she looks at it. "I'm pregnant," she whispers to herself. "I'm going to have Mac's baby."

"You're not going to shoot us Mateo," Lex looks back at his former lover as Mateo points a gun at him and Grant. "If you wanted to kill me, you would have last night."

"I wanted to keep you alive, yes," Mateo tells him quickly. "But now that your hero has emerged to save you, I have to stop you! I won't let Carmen lose what is rightfully hers, what is rightfully ours!"

"You have no right to the Rockwell fortune," Grant lashes back at Mateo. "You haven't earned anything, Mateo. End this, before you do something you'll regret."

Mateo glares at Grant and points the gun towards him. "You're going first, you smug son of a bitch."

Just as Mateo is about to shoot, a large wave comes up and rocks the boat, which causes Mateo to lose his footing. As Mateo falls on to the netting on the back of the catamaran, Lex jumps towards Mateo and they start to wrestle for the gun.

"Stop it! Lex be careful!" Grant shouts from the side, scared as to what will happen.

As the men wrestle, the gun goes off! The bullet hits the roach holding up the sail of the boat. The roach comes swinging down and hits Mateo in the back of his head! Mateo cries out in horror as he loses his balance and moves closer to the edge of the boat.

"Mateo! Come sit down," Lex tells him as the fight ends and Lex holds the gun. "Please!"

Mateo, in a state of shock, looks at his hand, which was holding his head, and sees that it's covered in blood. Suddenly, another large wave comes and rocks the boat again which causes Mateo to lose his balance and falls into the ocean!

"Mateo!" Lex cries out in horror as his body floats on the water as a pool of blood forms around him. "We have to save him!"

"I think it's too late," Grant points as the body starts to sink under the water. "He's dead. Mateo is dead."

Cole pauses outside of the main office of Rockwell Mining as he feels his cell phone vibrate. He was just about to go into the family meeting when he felt the incoming message. He pulls out his phone and sees the note from Casper.

"Sorry again, it was only sex. I liked it, you're hot, It doesn't have to be anything else, just you and my ass," it reads. Cole feels his cheeks flush.

"Damn it," he whispers to himself as he starts to type back to Casper. "Fine, let's me. Sex, nothing else."

He sighs as he puts his phone back into his pocket, wondering what the hell he is doing.

A short time later, the Rockwell family are all in the main office of Rockwell Mining as Carmen sits behind the desk.

"Well, it appears that your time is quickly approaching," Carmen purses her lips together as she looks at the family. "If you don't get me my money…"

"We know!" Lydia snaps at her. "You'll stay in control of the company. We told you already, getting that much money in liquid cash might take a few days. It's a lot of money to get our hands on."

"And yet you all act like you're higher than everyone else," Carmen hisses at her. "I'm not changing my mind; get me my money or this company is mine! You decide."

"Don't be so sure about that," a voice calls out as the boardroom door opens. Mac emerges as his family all breaths out in shock.

"Daddy?" Stacey asks as she gets tears in her eyes. "You're alive? My God!"

"Celeste?" Cole says as he looks his ex, who is standing behind his father. "You're back! Thank God, Madi can go free!"

"What is happening?" Carmen asks in disbelief. "You're both dead! How is this possible?"

"You thought I was dead," Mac moves closer to his wife. "But this little game you're playing, it's over. Because I am here, very much alive, and I am going to take over my company starting right now."

"And you," Celeste glares back to Carmen. "You're going to jail," she whispers as two police men emerge from behind her.
