SEASON FOUR: Grant met Cole in New York City as the Kelsey Lake foreman and revealed to him that he would reveal all the bids for the Kelsey Lake mine and make the best decision. Later, he gave Mac the contract. Grant showed up at the party and announced to Cole that he was Dixie's brother!

SEASON FIVE: Grant revealed to Lex he was in town to find his sister, Dixie. He also encountered Vivian and told her the same thing. Shortly after, Cole was arrested for Dixie's murder. Grant ended up in bed with Tanner and they plotted to get money from Odette so they could start a new life together. Grant punched Cole for killing his sister, but was shook when Cole was let off. Tanner told him that they would have to skip town, even though Grant was upset they didn't get the money. As they were leaving, they were arrested but cleared. Shortly after, Lex appeared in NYC to discuss the Kelsey Lake mine bid. He and Grant hit off after Grant revealed that Tanner skipped town.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Grant and Lex wanted to move into together but Lex told him that his family was against their relationship. Lex then got the CEO job at Blackmore Ltd. and Kent offered the penthouse to them. They moved into the penthouse together as their romance blossomed.

GOLD DIGGERS: Grant and Lex moved into their own condo together and continued to grow closer. Grant, however, was put off by the amount of time Lex was spending at the office instead of with him. Grant soon met a friend in Mateo, but they had an attraction. They ended up in bed together. In the aftermath, Lex saw them kissing! Lex dumped Grant, who tried to explain to Lex what happened. Grant went to see Mateo and overheard him on the phone confess to Houston that their plan worked. Grant was gutted. Grant also overheard Stacey and Marat admit they slept together on Christmas Eve. On the day of Houston's wedding to Stacey, Grant stopped the ceremony and announced Houston's plan to get Lex out of the CEO seat at Blackmore Ltd. Lex was crushed by Houston's actions. Grant then announced that Stacey and Marat slept together on Christmas Eve.

CABO WABO: Grant reappeared in Cabo when he ran into Lex at the resort pool. Grant though that Mateo not wanting Lex to have his phone was odd and wondered what was going on. Soon, Grant read about how Rockwell Mining was having a struggle and realized that Mateo didn't want Lex to know this. He then overheard Mateo order a catamaran and wondered why. When he realized that Mateo and Lex were gone from the resort, he wondered if Mateo took Lex to the boat. Grant rented a jet ski and raced after the catamaran, where Mateo had tied Lex up. Grant saved Lex, but Mateo pulled a gun on them. Lex and Mateo fought for the weapon and a shot was fired! The bullet dislodged a beam on the boat, which hit Mateo on the head! He fell into the ocean and died. Lex thanked Grant for saving his life.

THE SWITCH: Grant was helping Lucinda write her memoir. He was stunned to learn that she had another child that she never told anyone about. He then found a scrap book that chronicled Kent's life; he wondered if Kent could be Lucinda's long lost son. He broke into Kent's apartment to get something to do a DNA test, but Kent caught him! He revealed all to Kent and he agreed to a DNA test. At the hospital, they were relieved when the test came back negative, but Grant realized that he still had to learn the truth. When he saw Lucinda's locket and questioned her, she fired him! Grant was left wondering what was going on.

CHRISTMAS MINI SERIES: Grant met Casper and they ended up having hot sex with each other.
