SEASON ONE: Houston was working at the Kelsey Lake mine and was instantly attracted to Stacey, when she started to work in the cafeteria. Houston was invovled in a minor explosion at the mine, which caused Stacey to worry about his health. When it was revealed that he would be okay, Stacey and Houston gave into their passion and made love. In the afterglow, Stacey was horrified that she slept with someone whom worked in the mine as she was worried about her family's reaction. Houston then revealed that he is a Blackmore; Kent is his father. Stacey was more horrified knowing that Mac and Kent have long disliked one another. Houston was able to convince Stacey that they could make their relationship work. Houston proposed to her and Stacey accepted. On the day that the couple was going to tell Stacey's family about the engagement, they were invovled in a car accident.

SEASON TWO: In the season opener, it was revealed that Houston didn't survive the car crash. Kent, Stacey and Houston's mother, Vivian, were all devastated.

SEASON THREE: Lucinda faked Lydia's death and was holding her hostage in a cage in the basement of her mansion. While looking around, Lydia found a second cage that was connected to hers; inside that cage was an alive Houston! He revealed to Lydia that Lucinda faked his death because she refused to allow her granddaughter to marry a Blackmore; Houston has been held hostage for months. Together, he and Lydia pleaded with Lucinda to let them escape, to no avail. Soon, Houston and Lydia became lovers.

SEASON FOUR: Houston continued to plead with Lucinda to let him, and Lydia, out of the cage, to no avail. He continued to have sex with Lydia, and was horrified when Sabine walked in and saw them! Sabine rushed out and didn't save them. Houston and Lydia realized that Lucinda was having repairs completed on her mansion and wondered if the construction workers could assist in getting out of the cage. Soon, however, they smelled smoke and realized the mansion was fire! They were saved as Sabine instructed the firemen to go into the basement. Houston was reunited with Kent and Vivian, who were thrilled that he was alive. Houston then was reunited with Stacey, who told him she was married to Marat. Marat and Houston butted heads, as Houston vowed to get Stacey back. Houston, meanwhile, went back to work at Blackmore Ltd. and clashed with Lex, as he didn't trust a Rockwell. He was shocked when Lex revealed that he let Rockwell Mining win the Kelsey Lake mine back because Kent shot Stacey! Houston punched his father and stormed out. Houston, then, kissed Stacey and a fight broke out between him and Marat. Stacey broke it up. At the gala, Houston was relieved to learn that Stacey did still have feelings for him, but Sabine announced that he and Lydia were lovers!

SEASON FIVE: Houston helped Vivian, who had an injured leg, out of the bombing scene. Both Stacey and Kent remained livid with him for sleeping with Lydia. He was with Kent when he had a minor stroke and the experience pushed them to reunite. Stacey, however, told Houston to kick rocks. He was livid. Houston admitted to Vivian he thought he was going to lose Stacey when she announced she was going to Russia with Marat. Vivian told him that Marat got Celeste pregnant. On the day Stacey was scheduled to leave with Marat, Houston revealed Celeste's pregnancy! Stacey was furious and dumped both men. Houston continued to try to get back into her good books, to no avail. Vivian told him that Tanner told her about the baby and thought it was odd. He followed Tanner and saw him with Grant. He told Cole and Stacey about what he saw. Following Odette's death, he and Stacey reunited and got engaged. At their engagement party, Marat and Celeste returned to town and Marat revealed he wanted Stacey back.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Houston was thrilled when Kent agreed to move back in with Vivian, who claimed she was dying. Vivian played on her son's emotions and told him that she wanted to marry Kent before she passed away. Houston told his Dad to marry Vivian before she died. Kent proposed and Vivian accepted. Hosuton, however, was livid with his father when he gave Lex the CEO position at Blackmore Ltd. Houston clashed with his half-brother at the company. Meanwhile, Houston and Stacey continued to plan to be married. He was upset with his fiancé when she kept it from him that she was working with Marat at Rockwell Mining. He stormed out but they reunited on Christmas Day, unaware she slept with Marat. On Christmas Day, he was stunned to learn Vivian was faking her illness.

Mateo seduced Grant and told Houston, which Grant overheard. Houston, meanwhile, deleted some files at Blackmore Ltd. so it would appear that Lex was overspending at the company. Houston and Stacey, meanwhile, were happy together and planned their wedding. At the wedding, Grant stopped the ceremony with the news that Houston paid Mateo to seduce him and that Stacey and Marat slept together on Christmas Eve! Houston was gutted.

WALKING DEAD: Houston was floored when Stacey called a meeting with him and Marat where she announced that she didn't know who the father of her baby was. Houston was furious with her and stormed out on her. He ran to Kent and told him that his life was falling apart because of Stacey's revelation and because his father refused to fire Lex from Blackmore Ltd. Kent encouraged his son to try to get along with Lex. Houston then learned that Stacey had collapsed and rushed to the hospital, where he learned that she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes; Stacey was told to have no stress the final weeks of her pregnancy. While in the hospital, Houston encouraged Stacey to have a paternity test, she agreed. The test results confirmed that Marat was the father. Houston was dealt another blow and ran off. Distraught, he found Sabine who was upset with Kent and they two ended up in bed together! The following morning, they agreed not to say anything to Kent. Houston learned that Stacey went into labor and rushed to the hospital, where the baby needed a stem transplant. Marat was going to donate as the father but Lex announced that he switched the paternity test results to get back at Houston! Houston vowed revenge but donated to the baby, which saved it's life. Stacey, Houston and their son reunited.

Houston cried to Vivian, who went to bat for Houston, to no avail. Houston also continued to try to make it up to Stacey, who told him that they were over. Houston pleaded with her to change her mind, but Stacey insisted. Shortly after, Stacey seemingly apologized to Houston, not realizing she had just slept with Kent. Chase, meanwhile, asked Houston for permission to marry Vivian, which Houston supported.

Celeste denied it but Houston finally admitted, and felt the wrath of Kent and Stacey as they were reunited with their child.

CHRISTMAS MINI SERIES: Houston was in jail for switching baby Poppy for and for kidnapping Lex. Vivian visited her son and vowed that he would not spend the holidays behind bars. Shortly after, she returned to see Houston and admitted that her plead to Kent, Stacey and Lex fell on deaf ears. Houston pleaded with Vivian to pull Stacey aside and get her to visit him. To his surprise, it worked and Stacey came to see Houston. Houston told Stacey that Drake needed him and shouldn't be punished. His plea worked, and they agreed to drop the charges on the condition that Houston stay away from Lex; he agreed. On Christmas Day, Houston and Lex seemingly called a truce.

Houston was, then, surprised when Lex admitted that he was seeing water footprints in the office. He almost caught Quinn planting a device in the office that she was using to brainwash Lex; Quinn kissed him to distract him. Shortly after, Lex knocked out Houston and tied him u on a boat on the marina. Mateo, who was alive and seeking revenge on Lex, told Lex to kill Houston. Kent, Stacey and Quinn saved him right before Lex could kill him. Houston thanked his father for saving his life.

CHRISTMAS - JINGLE BELL ROCK: Houston continued to pursue Stacey, who told him that she needed to clear her head. Houston, then, saw Vivian upset and asked her what was wrong. She admitted that she saw Kent and Stacey kissing. He revealed that Kent and Stacey were still together, but he encouraged his mother to use her marriage to Kent to her advantage so they could be with the ones they loved. Vivian decided to seduce Kent, which worked! She told Houston about it, who ended up telling Stacey. Stacey was crushed by the news. Houston, meanwhile, supported Celeste in her quest to get back with Cole. SEASON NINE: Houston and Vivian vowed to try to keep Stacey and Kent apart, but they didn’t have to do much as they bickered. Houston tried to support Stacey but she pushed him away at every turn. After Mortimer died, he tried to comfort Stacey but she revealed that she was leaving town to clear her head. He turned his attention to work but was dismayed when Kent revealed he was returning to Blackmore Ltd. as CEO. He assumed it was because of Stacey but Kent told him he needed to be back. Soon, Houston learned that Dyhannah was giving Kent information from Rockwell Mining on a collaboration with Roboto. Lex learned and demanded that they stop. Houston told his brother he would be ruining the family business if he said anything. Shortly after, Houston was telling Celeste about the drama, unaware that Cole saw them together. Vivian then told her son that Kent wanted a divorce. THE DIAMOND THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS: Houston was thrilled when Stacey told him that she ended her romance with Kent. They grew closer over the holidays while spending time with the children. At Blackmore Ltd, Houston and Kent agreed to hire Quinn back on. Houston, however, was floored to see Kent and Quinn having sex in the office! Houston warned Kent about the dangers of being involved with an employee, but Kent reassured him that everything was fine.
