Chasing Diamonds

SEASON FIVE: Madi works at the wild land preservation and was involved with Rockwell Mining when they wanted to extract diamonds from preserved land. She eventually told Cole and Lex that their idea to save the land and mine underneath the land worked. She started dating Cole. Lucinda told her that Cole would leave her when the truth about Madi's mother was revealed. Celeste returned to town and made it clear she wanted Cole back.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Madi was thrilled when Cole told her that he was going to make Christmas special for her. She hoped that it would be a proposal. Lucinda told her that Cole would be upset if the truth about her family was revealed. Lucinda also told her that Vivian was dying, so Madi went to see her mother and then reunited. On Christmas Day, Cole was proposing to Mad when Celeste interrupted and announced that Vivian was her mother!

GOLD DIGGERS: Madi was thrilled when Cole told her that they could be together despite Vivian being her mother. They reunited. Madi then offered Sabine a job at the wild preserve foundation as she was investigating some land that had been illegally mined and now there was environmental damage. Sabine accepted and they worked on the case together. Madi was stunned when her father, Chase Cooper, returned to town and announced he didn't want Madi to marry Cole. Madi and Cole pleaded their case to Chase and Vivian, and it seemingly worked. Celeste, however, revealed to Madi that Cole and Vivian were lovers in the past! Madi was furious and confronted Cole. She slapped him and announced that she wished Celeste was dead. Shortly after, Celeste turned up dead in Madi's office! Cole asked his fiancé if she killed Celeste; Madi was further insulted. The police questioned Madi, however, and she couldn't give accurate time lines. On the day of Stacey and Houston's wedding, Madi was arrested for Celeste's murder.

WALKING DEAD: Madi remained in jail as she awaited trial for "murdering" Celeste. Vivian, Chase and Cole all tried to keep her spirits up even though she was struggling to stay positive. Deacon visited his sister and revealed that he wasn't able to run for Senate because of her pending trial; she apologized to him. Cole then told her that her trial date had been set and told her that the nightmare was going to be over soon. Shortly after, Chase and Vivian arrived at the jail and announced to her that Cole was having an affair; they produced pictures of Cole in bed with a blonde, which devastated Madi. She had no idea that the woman was Vivian in a blonde wig, as she had drugged Cole. At the trial, Madi stunned her family by announcing that she was pleading guilty!

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Madi was moved to a higher state prison after she plead guilty to killing Celeste. Cole visited her and asked her why she confessed when he knew that she was innocent. Madi revealed that she did it because
he broke her heart because of his affair! Cole vowed he was innocent.
A few days later, Cole stunned Madi by playing the recording of Vivian
and Chase confessing that they drugged him! Madi was outraged. When
Chase and Vivian visited, Madi told them she wanted nothing more to do
with them.

CABO WABO: Madi remained in jail after her plead of guilty to "killing" Celeste. She remained furious with Vivian and Chase for setting Cole up to appear like he cheated on her. Deacon visited her before he left town to work on the campaign trail. Cole also visited his love and told her he had a lead on getting her out. Madi, meanwhile, befriended Janice, who admitted she knew secrets about the rich and powerful of Kelsey Lake. Janice finally admitted to Madi that she knew about Kent and Chase working together to mine restricted lands in-exchange for campaign money.

THE SWITCH: Madi and Cole were reunited after she was released from jail once Celeste turned out to be alive. They were planning their wedding but Madi still wanted to get back at her parents for trying to break them up. Cole tried to get her to move on but Madi wasn't sure she was ready; Dyhannah overheard them talking and realized that Madi knew about Chase and Kent's past. Dyhannah suggested that they work together but Madi wasn't sure. Dyhannah pressured her to get back at her parents for trying to split up her and Cole; Madi finally agreed and told her parents to split up or she would reveal Chase's past. They were stunned but agreed. Vivian tried to talk Madi out of it, but she refused. On the day of her wedding, Chase visited Madi and they had a talk. Later, she walked down the aisle and was emotional; after Cole said his vows, Madi slapped him and told him she knew about his affair! She ran away from Cole, leaving him at the altar. Vivian tried to comfort her daughter.

CHRISTMAS MINI SERIES: Madi remained devastated by Cole's betrayal with Casper. She ran into him and told him that they were over for good. Shortly after, she overheard Vivian and Chase talking; he admitted to Vivian that he told Madi the truth about Cole in part to get back at her for blackmailing him. Madi was outraged and confronted her parents, whom she called toxic. She told them that she was leaving town to get away from them. Madi and Cole made peace before she left town.

SEASON EIGHT: Madison returned to Kelsey Lake since Vivian was hospitalized following her car accident. Madi was reunited with Houston, while they, along with Kent and Stacey, waited for an update on Vivian. They were devastated to learn that she only had a week to live. Shortly after, Madi was reunited with Cole, who was at the hospital visiting Stacey. They started to grow closer again as Madi leaned on Cole. Madi was then thrilled when Kent remarried Vivian; after the wedding, Vivian squeezed her hand and, shortly after woke up! Madi kissed Cole as a result, which Celeste saw. Celeste warned Madi that Cole still loved her. Madi asked Cole about that, and he kissed her again. They soon ended up in bed together! At Nathan and Sabine's wedding, Celeste asked Cole for 5 minutes to talk after. He agreed. She stripped down naked in front of Cole, just as Madi approached.

Madi and Celeste had words with each other, but after Cole told her that he told Celeste they were over, she agreed to go on a date with him. Things escalated on the date, and they returned to Cole's room, where Madi found another pair of women's underwear! She thought he was cheating on her with Celeste and rushed out. When Cole tried to explain, Madi revealed that she was going back to Seattle after Christmas.

SEASON NINE: Madi returned to town with a baby. When Cole saw them, Madi told him
that the baby was his!

THE DIAMOND THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS: Madison told Cole that he was the father of her son, Rocky. He wanted
a DNA test, which Madison agreed too. Madi, meanwhile, reunited with
Vivian and Chase, as they relished being grandparents. Madi and Chase
also grew closer in the wake of the news of Deacon's death. Celeste
arrived to confront Madi about Rocky and a catfight broke out! Vivian
and Chase broke it up. On Christmas Day, Madi announced to Cole and
Celeste that the DNA test results confirmed that he is the father.
Celeste watched as the parents embraced.
