THE SWITCH: NNathan was dating Sabine in New York City. He has a son Slate, who was a bartender. He supported Sabine after she saw Stacey in New York. He revealed that he wasn't close to his family because his father favored his older brother over him because he was going to be the heir to the family company. Frustrated, Nathan attempted to emancipate himself; he changed his name and moved to NYC and became a top real estate agent. Sabine was stunned to see that Lucinda is his mother! She convinced him to return to Kelsey Lake for Cole's wedding; Lucinda and Mac were stunned to see Levi back in town!

CHRISTMAS MINI SERIES: Nathan was annoyed by Mac and Lucinda's constant referral of him as "Levi"; still he agreed to try to have a peaceful Christmas season. He secretly told Sabine that he would be civil, as long as he got what he wanted. He tried to comfort Slate, who was annoyed that he got a job in the mailroom. Shortly after, Nathan saw Lucinda and Dane together and wondered what was going on between them. He told Slate of this as well. Nathan went to Mac at Rockwell Mining and asked for a job; Mac told him that he would have to wait until a position opened, which further infuriated Nathan. Shortly after, Nathan proposed to Sabine, who accepted. Slate then approached his father and told him that they had to speak. On Christmas Day, Nathan and Sabine announced their engagement, which made Lucinda furious. Nathan and Lucinda startled to squabble, which Mac broke up and caused him to attack Nathan. Nathan then stunned everyone by revealing that Dane was really Mac's father!

SEASON SIX: Nathan relished in watching Mac suffer from the revelation that Dane is his biological father. Sabine, however, told her lover to go easy on Mac but Nathan refused to let his half-brother win. Nathan proposed and Sabine accepted. Nathan went to the Rockwell Mining board and told them that Mac was a fraud. Nathan was thrilled when he told Mac that the board was going to remove him as CEO and Nathan was going to take over! Shortly after, Mac was further rattled when Nathan took over the Rockwell mansion head of household. Nathan relished in the fact that he was taking over Mac's life, despite Sabine feeling bad for Mac. Nathan and Slate celebrated their victories. At Sabine and Nathan's engagement party, Mac showed up drunk and crashed the party. Slate and Mac came to blows and Slate went to punch Mac; after, he slipped and fell into the pool. He drown as a result, which devastated Nathan. Nathan saw video footage and thought Mac went to hit Slate back, so he blamed his brother for his son's death. Lucinda realized that her son's feud was getting out of control. Nathan, meanwhile, ran into Celeste and realized her past with the Rockwell's. He gave her a job at Rockwell Mining, which upset the family. Nathan hired Richard Coleman, who was actually Cole in disguise. Sabine was upset by how close Celeste and Nathan were growing. At Slate's memorial service, Nathan was stunned to learn that his son had married Carmen. Nathan told Carmen that his son could have done better than her, which annoyed Carmen. Thinking that Mac killed Slate, Nathan told Sabine that he was going to get revenge on Mac by killing Cole! Sabine begged him to reconsider and announced that she was pregnant in an attempt to keep him in line. Shortly after, someone arrived at the Rockwell mansion and shot Nathan!

SEASON SEVEN: Lex found a shot Nathan and rushed him to the hospital. He survived surgery but fell into a coma. When he awoke, Helena asked him who shot him; Nathan pointed his finger at Mac! Later, while Sabine was with him, Nathan flatlined and died. Lucinda, however, faked his death and whisked him away to recover from his injuries as a way to end her sons feud. Once Mac got the death penalty, Lucinda brought Nathan home to save him. Nathan admitted to Sabine and Mac that Carmen shot him. Mac told his brother that this was their chance to start fresh; Nathan agreed, which thrilled Lucinda. Shortly after, Nathan learned of Mac’s affair with Sabine and vowed revenge.

SEASON EIGHT: Nathan was tormented by the idea of Sabine's affair with Mac. However, he played nice around both of them to make them think that everything was fine. He and Mac agreed to work together at Rockwell Mining and divided up the duties of CEO. Lucinda was thrilled that her children were getting along. Nathan and Sabine, meanwhile, planned their wedding. Nathan, however, continued to plot revenge against them. Once he learned that Mac and Helena were lovers, he planned to use the police detective to get back at Mac and Sabine. He asked Helena to be security while he worked on a special wedding ring for Sabine. While they worked together, they grew closer and flirted. Soon, Nathan kissed her, but Helena told him that she was in love with Mac. He agreed to stop but they soon ended up making love. Nathan vowed not to tell anyone about the affair. On his wedding day, Nathan publically exposed his affair! Sabine slapped him and demanded answers from him. He revealed everything and she dumped him.

CHRISTMAS - JINGLE BELL ROCK: Nathan was stunned to learn that he was going to take over Mortimer's power of attorney once Lucinda's divorce was finalized. Lydia congratulated him and suggested to him that he was about to be a very powerful man. Lydia told him that they could work together and she suggested that he hire Dyhannah at Rockwell, since Mac offered her a job and she turned it down. Nathan was thrilled when Dyhannah accepted his job offer. Lydia, then, told him about Mac and Sabine's affair. Nathan confronted them and told them that he thought they deserved one another. Nathan, then, got his father's will to review and made a call to have that happen. Lydia and Nathan, meanwhile shared a kiss and on Christmas Day, then announced that they were married!

SEASON NINE: Nathan and Lydia remained in their newlywed phase and made love. They
agreed to concur the world together. Soon, Lydia told him that she got
a call that Mortimer wasn't doing well, so Nathan went to see his
father. While visiting Mortimer, he passed away. Lydia asked him if he
killed his father, and Nathan maintained that he didn't. He was put
off when both Mac and Lucinda asked him the same thing, especially
after Mortimer's will revealed that Nathan was going to get millions.
Soon, Nathan started hearing voices that told him that he did kill
Mortimer and called him a murder. The voices spoke to him so
frequently that Nathan started to believe them, and he admitted that
he killed Mortimer! Lydia was worried about his mental health, so she
had him committed to a hospital. After an initial exam, the doctor
decided that Nathan should be admitted to the psych ward. Once he was
there, Lydia revealed that she planted a device that played the voices
because she wanted him out of the way. Nathan was floored and tried to
tell the doctors and Lucinda, but he came across as even crazier then
before. Nathan was left in the hospital and remains there.
