SEASON ONE: Stacey got dumped by her boyfriend Joshua Willis, after he called her a spoiled brat. Upset by his words, Stacey returned home and looked at her life and wondered if he was right about her. After doing some soul searching, Stacey asked Lydia if she could work at the Kelsey Lake Mine, since Blackmore Ltd. Owned the mine. Kent agreed, but Lydia warned her daughter that she wouldn’t like the type of work that was entailed.

Stacey went to work at the mine in the cafeteria and instantly fell for Houston, one of the minors. After Houston was involved in a minor explosion, the two gave into their attraction and made love. In the aftermath, Stacey recoiled as she knew that Mac would not approve of her romance with someone from a different class. Houston then surprised her by revealing that he is actually Kent’s son; he is just doing what she did: working his way up from the bottom of the company vs. accepting handouts. Stacey was even more torn as she knew that Kent and Mac despised one another. Still, she was unable to hide her attraction to Houston and they continue their romance. Soon, Houston professed his love and proposed to Stacey; she happily accepted. They agreed to tell her family about the romance and engagement. Enroute to the office to reveal their news, Houston and Stacey were involved in a horrible car accident.

SEASON TWO: Following the car accident with Houston, Stacey suffered a head injury and required brain surgery. The Rockwell's were devastated by this, but the surgery was a success. Stacey, however, fell into a coma. Soon after, though, Stacey awoke and the Rockwell's rejoiced. Lydia and Lucinda, however, had to break the news to Stacey that Houston didn't survive the crash. Stacey was devastated and visited Houston's grave. She also had to explain her engagement to Houston to the family, as Lydia learned when Houston's will was read. Soon after, Stacey got a job at Rockwell Mining helping Celeste with the design department. Marat Kafelinkov took interest in Stacey, but she put him off as she wasn't over Houston yet. Celeste told Stacey that she was too young to let a good opportunity pass her by. Stacey finally agreed to go out with Marat, and they ended up having a good time together. Stacey, meanwhile, was shocked when Lex's paternity was revealed. She blasted Lydia for her lies and comforted Lex. Stacey and Marat continued to grow closer and he asked her to return to Russia with him, as he had to check on his business and his father. Stacey agreed to go. Mac threw a going away party for her; at the party, Lex collapsed. Stacey, along with the rest of the family, rushed to the hospital. While waiting to hear about Lex, Odette burst into the waiting room and fired her gun towards Mac!

SEASON THREE: Stacey and the rest of the Rockwell's were worried about Lex and his drugging. Stacey blamed her mother for what happened since Lydia kept Lex's paternity a secret for so long. With Lex's liver failing, Kent agreed to a transplant. The transplant was a success, which left the Rockwell's thrilled. The Rockwell's were then reunited with Sabine, Lydia's sister. Stacey encouraged Mac to hire Sabine at Rockwell Mining, which upset Lydia. Marat, then, returned to Kelsey Lake and reunited with Stacey. They made love. Then, Stacey hired her old friend Brock to help with Lex's rehab. Marat confessed that his mine in Russia was having difficulty. Marat proposed to Stacey, and she accepted. They planned a double wedding with Cole and Celeste. Lydia was then in a plane crash and was presumed dead. Stacey was devastated as her last conversation with her mother was not pleasant. Stacey was left with Lydia's power of attorney, which was being used to help Kent, as he gave his POA to Lydia while he recovered from the transplant. This meant that Stacey was the CEO of Blackmore Ltd. Kent was not happy with this and he wanted Stacey to transfer the POA to Lex. Stacey, however, was determined to make a name for herself as the CEO. She decided to steal the contract of the Kremlin Diamonds from Rockwell Mining and move it to Blackmore Ltd, hoping that it would make Kent realize that she was serious. She asked Marat to speak to Yuri; he agreed and Stacey stole the contract. Mac was livid. Kent was impressed but he still wanted Lex in charge. Stacey realized that Kent was mixing his pain killers with alcohol and spoke to him while he was stoned, hoping to change his mind. Under the influence, he did say he wanted her in charge. Stacey told Lex, who was flabbergasted. Stacey visited Kent again and saw that the transfer of POA documents had arrived. She was livid. She and a stoned Kent got into a fight; Kent fell and was knocked unconscious as his stitches ripped open. Stacey left him in a pool of blood. She realized that she had to come up with another plan to prove her worth. She opened a design division at Blackmore Ltd. and ended up stealing some of Celeste's designs for Rockwell Mining. Mac and Celeste were horrified when Stacey announced that she had launched "her" designs before Rockwell Mining could. Mac was furious and told his daughter he didn’t recognize her. They grew closer, however, when Mac agreed to walk her down the aisle. After the police visited Stacey before her wedding, she realized that she was out of control. Her wedding to Marat was interrupted with Vivian announcing she had adopted Marat and Celeste's love child! Shortly after, Marat made it up to Stacey and they were married. Lex, meanwhile, realized that Stacey left Kent for dead and confronted his sister. She admitted it and claimed she would do anything to make it right.
