SEASON TWO: Vivian was introduced at the hospital as Houston's mother; she was devastated when her son was killed the car accident. She leaned on Kent for support and lashed out at Lydia, who was trying to be sympatric. Vivian was then horrified when Kent proposed to Lydia so quickly after Houston's death. Vivian vowed that the wedding wouldn't take place. At Houston's will reading, Vivian was further surprised to learn that he was engaged to Stacey. Vivian soon saw Lucinda, and they bonded over their mutual hate for Lydia. Vivian was then upset with Kent for revealing that he is Lex's father as she felt like he was, again, disrespecting Houston. After the truth about Lex came out, Lucinda gave Vivian information that could stop the wedding. Armed, Vivian made a call to the DA. Lydia was arrested at the wedding for corporate espionage. Vivian celebrated and then saw Cole, who looked upset. Cole was reeling from the fact that Celeste chose Mac over him. Vivian used the opportunity and they made love. Soon, it was a regular occurrence. Cole even comforted Vivian on Houston's birthday. After Lydia was released from jail, Vivian gloated to her that not only did she stop her from marrying Kent, but she was sleeping with Lydia's son.

SEASON THREE: Vivian was worried about Cole after he was shot. He tried to dump her, as the shooting made him realize that he still cared about Celeste, but Vivian admitted that she loved him and he got cold feet. Shortly after, Vivian saw him kissing Celeste and realized that Cole was playing her. Livid, she lashed out at him when he finally did dump her. She vowed to make Celeste look back which would make Cole come back to her. She soon saw Celeste and Marat together and wondered if they were having an affair. Vivian hired a PI and learned that Celeste and Marat knew each other in New York City. Vivian travelled there and returned with a child in tow. At Cole and Celeste's wedding, Vivian stopped the ceremony by announcing that Celeste and Marat had a child together that they gave up for adoption. Vivian then laid another bomb shell: she had adopted the baby! Vivian was thrilled that Cole dumped her, and was keeping another secret: Ashlee, the girl she adopted, wasn't really Celeste's baby at all!

SEASON FOUR: Vivian continued to share words with her enemy, Lydia. At the same time, she bonded with Kent and vowed to get Cole back. She was then horrified to be served with custody papers by Celeste and Marat. She vowed to keep Ashlee, and had Cole subpoenaed to testify on her behalf. She told Cole to just drag Celeste through the mud and she would win. A high Cole did just that, and Vivian got custody of Ashlee. She thanked Cole. Then, Vivian was shocked to learn that Houston and Lydia were alive; she reunited with her son with Kent by her side. She took Houston to see Stacey so they could reunite. Vivian was then thrilled when Cole agreed to meet her one on one. On their date, Cole turned on the charm and she admitted that Ashlee isn't Marat and Celeste's daughter. Disgusted, Cole lashed out at her and walked out on Vivian; she was furious and vowed revenge. At the gala, she spied Celeste and Marat together and wondered what was going on.

SEASON FIVE: Vivian hurt her leg badly in the bombings, but she survived. She was upset that Kent and Houston were at odds since Sabine revealed that Houston had slept with Lydia. She encouraged Kent to forgive Houston, which he did. Soon after, Vivian encountered Grant, who told her that he was looking for Dixie. She offered her assistance. Tanner, who was working with an alive Odette, then told Vivian the truth about Marat getting Celeste pregnant. She told Houston the truth. When she told Houston that Tanner confided in her, Houston wondered why. Grant, then, told Vivian that Cole had something to do with Dixie's death. She went to Cole and told him she would keep his secret if they made love. Reeling from Celeste's lie, Cole jumped into her bed. In the aftermath, she revealed that she knew that he killed Dixie. Cole was livid with her and dumped her for good. Later, Vivian showed up on Kent's doorstep when he and Lydia split. They ended up back in bed. Vivian vowed to get back together with Kent, who had embarked on an affair with Sabine. She reached out to her old friend, Deacon Cooper, who backed her claim that she was dying. She told Kent.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Vivian was worried about her plan to get Kent back but Deacon assured her that it would work. Vivian was then thrilled when Kent moved back into her mansion because she was dying and he wanted to give her a final last Christmas. She told Houston that she wished Kent would marry her; Kent proposed and she accepted. Vivian was then stunned to see her long lost daughter, Madi. They reunited. Kent and Vivian were married on Christmas Day, but Sabine then interrupted with news that Vivian was faking her illness!

GOLD DIGGERS: Vivian pleaded with Kent to forgive her for faking her illness, but he refused and told her he wanted an annulment. Sabine warned Vivian about crossing her again. Vivian was stunned when Chase Cooper, Madi's father, showed up on her doorstep and announced that he didn't want Madi to marry Cole. Vivian and Chase grew closer as they agreed to stop Madi from marrying Cole. Madi then learned the truth about Vivian and Cole's past, which upset her. Vivian and Chase were horrified when Madi was then arrested for Celeste's murder.

WALKING DEAD: Vivian and Chase continued to support Madison while she awaited her murder trial. They both continued to blame Cole for their daughter's plight and vowed to break them up. They continued to try to keep Madi's spirits up and were further annoyed when Cole announced to their daughter that a trial date had been set. Vivian contacted Cole the day before the trial and he showed up at her mansion. She and Chase told Cole they wanted to discuss the trial with him; instead, Vivian drugged Cole. While he was passed out, Chase stripped him of his clothes and put him into bed. Vivian emerged wearing a blonde wig and got into bed with Cole, while Chase snapped pictures of them in what appeared to be sexual positions. Shortly after, Vivian and Chase announced to Madison that Cole was cheating on her and showed her the pictures. The following day in court, Madison shocked everyone by pleading guilty to murder! Vivian and Chase were horrified and blamed Cole.

CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: Vivian and Chase wondered how they could get Madi out of jail now that she had plead guilty. Chase told her that it might be more difficult since she plead guilty. A short time later, they returned home and saw
a blonde woman in the living room; Stacey revealed herself to be
wearing Vivian's wig! They admitted to drugging Cole, unaware he
recorded it! Madi kicked Vivian and Chase out after learning the
truth. Dyhannah, meanwhile, told Vivian and Chase that she knew about
Chase's past with Kent and would go public unless Chase financially
endorsed Deacon's campaign, and unless he dumped Vivian. Vivian was
horrified when Chase agreed.

CABO WABO: Vivian and Chase continued to see one another in secret as they were worried about Dyhannah's blackmail. Vivian supported Houston after Kent disowned him and she begged Kent to give their son a second chance, to no avail. Vivian then overheard Chase tell Houston that he wanted to marry her; Vivian confronted Dyhannah and told her she wouldn't say anything about the information she knows because if she did, she would lose her job at Blackmore Ltd and Deacon would lose the election. A thrilled Vivian told Chase what happened and he proposed to her; she accepted.

THE SWITCH: Vivian and Chase were reunited and planning their wedding since they finally got rid of Dyhannah from their lives. Shortly after, Madi arrived and announced that she wanted her parents to split up or she would reveal Chase and Kent's past. Vivian was horrified at Madi's request, but Madi called it karma since Vivian and Chase tried to break up her and Cole. Vivian pleaded with Chase to marry her but he refused and vowed to teach their daughter a lesson. After Madi left Cole at the altar, Vivian comforted her daughter and learned that Chase was the one who told her about Cole's affair. Dyhannah, then, revealed to Vivian that she and Chase made love.

CHRISTMAS MINI SERIES: Vivian visited Houston in jail and told her son that she would do everything she could to ensure that he was released from jail before Christmas. She called a meeting with Kent, Stacey and Lex and asked that they drop the charges. They all refused, to her shock. She went back to Houston and told him what happened. He asked her to take Stacey aside and convince her to visit him; Vivian did just that, and Stacey went to see Houston. Vivian was thrilled when Houston was released from jail. Vivian and Chase, meanwhile, remained at odds because of his affair with Dyhannah. He tried to explain that he slept with her to use her, but it still stung Vivian. Dyhannah and Vivian had a fight about it. Vivian and Chase were talking about Madi and how Chase told her about Cole's affair as a way to teach their daughter a lesson for blackmailing them. Madi overheard and lashed out at her parents. Madi left town as a result. Vivian, then, saw Chase and Dyhannah together and assumed that they were together. Hurt, she turned to Cole. They ended up in bed together, which Chase saw! In the morning, Cole told her it was a mistake as he couldn't hurt Madi again.

SEASON SIX: Vivian saw Dyhannah and Chase together and assumed that they had reunited. She ran into Cole and they ended up in bed together. Cole maintained that they couldn’t have a relationship because of Madison. Vivian agreed and realized she needed a change of pace. After saying goodbye to Chase, Cole & Houston, Vivian went to Portland to see Madison.

SEASON EIGHT: Vivian's family was worried about her after her accident left her in a coma in the hospital. She took a turn for the worse and was given a week to live. Stacey told Kent that he should marry Vivian before it's too late since Vivian always loved Kent. With Madi and Houston present, Kent remarried her. Shortly after, Vivian squeezed Madi's hand, which lead her children to believe that Vivian was getting better. While Kent was with her, she came out of her coma! Everyone thought it was a miracle, and Vivian started to recover. Soon, she was home and she told Kent that his love saved her life. Houston and Stacey both saw close moments between Vivian and Kent, who was secretly longing to be with Stacey still.

CHRISTMAS: JINGLE BELL ROCK: Vivian was thrilled that she and Kent were back together and planned a great Christmas with him and her children. Soon, however, she saw Kent and Stacey kissing and was furious. Houston admitted to his mother that Kent and Stacey were still together. He encouraged his mother, however, to use her marriage to her advantage. Vivian agreed to seduce Kent; soon they were back in bed! She told Houston, who spilled the beans to Stacey. Vivian told Kent that he gave her the best Christmas of her life.

SEASON NINE: Vivian and Houston realized that they had to keep Stacey and Kent
apart. Stacey and Vivian shared words with one another, and Stacey
then left town to clear her head, which pleased Vivian as she and Kent
could move on with their marriage. Vivian, then, told Kent and Houston
not to let Blackmore Ltd. come between them after Kent went back to
work at his company. She also supported Chase, who was feeling left
out from his relationship with Dyhannah as she was working at Rockwell
Mining. Dyhannah saw them together and wondered if Chase was going to
cheat on her, so she asked Vivian for help. Vivian agreed to make a
play for Chase to ensure he wouldn't stray on her. They had dinner
together and then Vivian kissed Chase, unaware Casper snapped pictures
of it. Vivian told Dyhannah that Chase was in love with her, which
left Dyhannah relieved. However, Casper showed Dyhannah the pictures
and she showed Kent. Kent blasted Vivian, who maintained that nothing
happened. Still, Kent devastated Vivian by announcing he wanted a
divorce.

THE DIAMOND THAT STOLE CHRISTMAS: Vivian pleaded with Kent to give their marriage a second chance, but
he still believed she cheated on Chase, so he pressed her for a
divorce. She agreed to sign the divorce papers. She reunited with
Madi, and Rocky, and was overjoyed to be a grandmother again. She and
Chase broke up a fight between Madi and Celeste. Chase, then, kissed
Vivian right before Christmas Day.
