September 30, 2019 - A November to Remember

AP - Head writer & creator of One Day at a Time Dallas Walsh has promised that November sweeps will be a month to remember in Twin Peaks.

"There are many stories that are seemingly simmering in October and they will come to a full boil in November," Dallas teased us. "The secret of the fire at the boutique will be the main storyline driving the drama but there are so many other people that are involved. It turns into this huge umbrella storyline where half the cast is involved."

The month is set to start with a week of daily episodes and the drama from those episodes will carry out into the remainder of the month of episodes.

"The dailies really do set up the rest of the month in terms of fall out," Dallas explains. "The dailies take place at a party and the rest of the month deals with the events that take place at the party."

So, what can fans expect in November sweeps? Here is a small preview of some of the plots that will heat up: Dawn's world is rocked again ... Tyler finally learns the truth about Bob, Kim and Felicia ... Robbie witnesses a close moment between Kim and Greg ... Brandy continues to create chaos in Twin Peaks ... a shocking death occurs that will leave the town grieving ... and so much more.

Here is a preview of the promo for the next month. What do you think of November sweeps?

January 01, 2018 -- 2019 Preview

We are about to embark on a new year but that doesn't mean the drama will slow down in Twin Peaks! Overall, 2018 was a pretty dark year on One Day at a Time (the ice storm, Dawn's rape, Max rigging Adam's accident etc.), so expect some lighter storylines coming your way. Here's a mini preview of what to expect. Let me know which storylines you are most excited about!

Dawn: The reveal that she is pregnant will certainly weight on Dawn's shoulders as she is fully aware that the child is a result of her attack last summer. Shelley and Cheresa will support their friend and provide her alternatives to keeping the child. Of course, this will likely not sit well with Barbara when she finds out what is going on with her Granddaughter. Barbara will continue to slip off the deep end and will end up putting Dawn and another person in grave danger.

Leah/Jeff/Meggan/Brad: Just as Meggan discovers that she is pregnant, Leah decides that she wants to make her marriage to Jeff work. Jeff goes to tell Meggan this so she keeps hush about the baby. Only problem is … she will have to tell people about the baby eventually right? Meggan will ask Brad, who is still harbouring feelings for her, a huge favor.

Cory/Natasha/Shane/Cassie: Natasha continues to suspect that Cassie is using Shane to get back at her; the crazy thing is: she's right. Cory, who is still looking to adopt with Natasha, presses his wife to let it go, but she can't. Cassie does get exposed and ends up in a new man's bed … and that will drive Natasha even crazier.

Victoria: Victoria will continue to tell Robbie she is not interested in getting back together with him but he refuses to take note until Victoria slaps him. She's left feeling very vulnerable as a result. Shortly after, she will have another dangerous situation arise, in which Shane will rescue her from, but Victoria will be left having to face many old demons from her past.

Helen/Adam/Robin/Max: Adam will continue to push Robin away as he is impotent and feels like he is unable to be the man she deserves. Max will take this opportunity to try to grow closer with Robin, who starts to suspect Max as the one who caused Adam's accident. Will Robin get to the truth? Watch for Helen to be Adam's shoulder to cry on during this mess and the exes will grow closer.

Andy/Lukas/Donovan/Craig: In the wake of sex on New Year's Eve, Andy will realize that he's not ready for a relationship as he is consumed with thoughts of Reese, so he will tell Lukas he isn't ready for anything serious. Craig, meanwhile, assumes he and Donovan could be together after their night of passion but Donovan also has reservations. Andy plays match maker for Lukas and Donovan… will they get back together? Craig will feel left out and we will see him embark on a new journey this year where his health is put to risk.

Andy: Andy will find a new man in 2019, but what happens if that man is not available (and not in the way anyone assumes he will not unavailable)?

Bob/Kim/Dominick/Felicia: Bob and Kim will continue to brainwash Felicia into believing that she started the fire at the boutique. Simona will suggest to Dominick that Felicia, instead of serving jail time, will go to Raven's Meadow, the mental hospital. Felicia will make a friends with a familiar face at the hospital. Bob and Kim, meanwhile, will hire Tyler at Roboto since he is still upset with Dominick for his role in Blake's death. This will allow Tyler to have access to Kim and Bob's files and personal belongings … will he uncover the truth about Felicia's brainwashing?

Chris/Trenyce/Andrew/Paige: Paige and Andrew will continue to grow closer but she still finds something off with him when it comes to Chris and Trenyce. Paige will slowly start to put the pieces together of Andrew drugging Chris and Helen. What will she do when the truth comes out? And how will Trenyce and Chris react?

Odds & Ends: Brad & Cheresa's connection is revealed and we will see more of their family come to Twin Peak. This happens in early February. Greg Lawson will mix it up with Bob and Kim; Brooke Lawson will be involved in Robbie's new story line; Abby Lawson will be featured with the new younger set of characters of Dawn, Cheresa, Max, Andrew and Paige. Watch for the younger cast to embark on a summer storyline with Roboto and ends in tragedy … Tyler and Daisy's torrid affair could end up costing her everything: her marriage to Vinny, her family and her career … Daisy and Lukas will continue to be at odds but be forced to work together … Robbie will seek out a new purpose in life and have a career change … Cory and Natasha are stunned to find out the mother of the child that they want to adopt.

On March 11th, an 14-episode arch called "The Ice Storm" begins on One Day at a Time. The arch will use Lana Del Rey's "Honeymoon" album in it's entirety as the theme music, a first for the web series. Writer Dallas Walsh previews the arch below.

"Using the 'Honeymoon' album is a great way to set the tone for the arch," Dallas explains. "It's very rare that I like an entire album, by any artist, but I think this record is amazing start to finish. The sound of the record too, is very melancholy, moody, dramatic and sad; these are characteristics of the ice storm itself."

"Moving away from the music, many different storylines will come to a head during the storm. There will be a lot of drama coming for the citizens of Twin Peaks, and not everyone will survive," Dallas teases.

Tyler/Kim/Bob: Tyler has been trying to blackmail Kim into leaving Bob and return to him, but Kim has made it clear that she won't do this; she would rather tell Bob the truth about her leaking the facial cream formula to Robertson Enterprises & her sleeping with Tyler on New Year's Eve. The question becomes, will Kim tell Bob the truth? And, if she does, how will Bob react? Watch for a very dramatic encounter between Kim and Bob and the fallout will change the lives of everyone in Twin Peaks forever.

Cassie/Shane/Natasha/Cory/Jacob: In the couple of episodes leading up to the Ice Storm, Natasha and Shane will learn what, exactly, is wrong with Jacob and how dire his situation actually is. Natasha will struggle with the idea that she might lose her child, especially considering she was just informed that she can't have anymore children. Shane will grow closer to his ex-wife as they rally around Jacob, which Cassie will observe. Cassie will start to tell Cory that the ex's may get back together, but he's more worried about Jacob's possible death.

Vinny/Daisy/Jemma: During the storm, there will be a party at the Pampa Grill (isn't there always a party when people should be staying in their homes where it's safe?), where Jemma and Daisy will finally clash. Jemma will lash out at her daughter for not accepting her as her mother sooner, and Daisy will give it back to Jemma for her lies. Vinny will be caught in the middle, but watch for a tragic event to change everything.

Frederick's Murder: While Chris is in jail, Helen will continue to wonder if he's actually guilty, which will impact their future as a couple. Will Chris be able to get off for a crime, he claims he didn't commit? Watch for Trenyce to ask Chris a question that could, potentially, change their futures during the ice storm. Meanwhile, Simona will push forward with getting a conviction for the murder, whether it is with Chris, or another prime suspect. The murder trial will begin during the ice storm, impacting many people in town.

Odds & Ends: When a situation arises that hits close to home for Leah, her full memory will return. How will she react to the fact that she is actually married to Jeff, who was about to marry Meggan in Santa Barbara? What will happen to Robbie and Victoria's relationship? Leah's memory returning will add further complications for all involved ... Andrew and Paige may see one another in a new light when their families need their support ... Dawn comes to a realization about her sexuality ... Lukas will discover how far Craig & Donovan's relationship went in the most dramatic of fashions. How will he react to knowing his boyfriend and his ex-boyfriend were lovers? ... Dominick's quest to continue to get sales on the facial cream may cost him more than he ever thought. Watch for Eva to learn a secret; will she keep her husband's secret?
